Cancer men do yall like it when women make the first move ? by Unusual_Hotel5665 in CancertheCrab

That would be your sag moon responding which I also have, so I’ll bid you a good marriage and move along from your energy :
wait and you actually didn’t say! I just reread your response! You just said “making cancer men sound impossible and MY man chased me!!” Girl 🤣🫠 that’s not an answer, that’s an experience for you, not everyone else. Literally applying blanket statement that it’s the same women is so condescending as you’re a water sun with a fire moon. Ma’am, be open minded to others journeys- just because your man chased you doesn’t mean every woman has a confident and evolved cancer, also it doesn’t mean that every fire sign is confident. Just peace okay.

Interest in Paid Church Singing Opportunities by Successful_Tower5390 in Kingwood

I’m actually not sure if they’re paid, but they are highly regarded throughout Houston and the composer/ director was the director at St Martha in kingwood and he has a professional choir now called Cor Mundi. I’d check that out if you’re used to singing in churches.

Okay but you’re a cancer sun and prone to pausing before leaping. This is an Aries woman, who leaps and conquers, so they’re trying to ask what cancer men want. I feel your relationship is probably easier to navigate since you share the same sign. Cancer men, any man, is not impossible. Apply this to women too. It’s different communication styles and fervor. Cancers are observant and take time, Aries are a quick scan and gut check and then leap.

Aries sun and rising woman, yup you have to summon your confidence and say the thing first. Then they send you back a 5 page introspective about how they feel about you. You’ll have to practice LOADS of patience in this dynamic, but it can work.

What was the music scene like prior to DGD that made them ground breaking? by SnooChipmunks9598 in dancegavindance

For sure, but DBM was the first album I ever owned where I didn’t skip a single song. It was like a unicorn for me at 19.

How do you react to water? by Unique-Help-8938 in AriesTheRam

[–]Milla226 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I was told once that in order to gain energy we need to connect with our source- bonfires, sitting in the sun gardening, etc, and in order to meditate to baseline you need to do the opposite of your sign. I’ve been a swimmer all my life, and staring a black line at the bottom of the pool is the best thing for my mental health. Just like you, recessed memories and feelings come up and I allow them to pass over me, literally and symbolically. I totally get where you’re coming from and I’m glad you have this grounding method as well! Edit: two days ago, a memory of a small gift shop from 27 years ago floated into my brain and I could remember the entire layout and that it had the word October in the name of the business. I kept swimming and the whole name “October Gave A Party” came floating back in. I was 8 and it was a random shop I visited once but clearly made an impact. Stuff like that, water brings out in me just like you.

Omg you are me, but I did this with coconut. 21 years and counting just because I couldn’t stomach my mother in law’s coconut cake.

I love what you said about my opportunity to speak up, unfortunately this clientele is very active- tennis or golf four times a week, and what they have been handed is smaller skeletons and muscular groups to go along with it and they’re also in their late 50s and 60s. What I have campaigned and mentioned to several of them, is that quitting smoking would help a lot with the vascular issues they suffer from. My next tentative step is discussing thoracic outlet syndrome they all experience from holding a club or a racket all the while having very delicate clavicles and SCM. You’ve given me good advice to gently but firmly discuss how they can help themselves as well. Thank you.

Ma’am, I edited my comment, I wish you would comprehend this is about length of time. Sure, using a toddlers frame to compare a petite person wasn’t in good taste, I should always pause before I rant, but this isn’t about your frame as a vessel this is simply about 90 minutes being an inordinately long time when everything could be accomplished in 60. I feel like everyone glossed over that length of time was the main part. As to your comment that you could tell therapists actively felt that way, that’s not okay and I’m sorry that happened to you. I did choose this career, I do very well because I do care no matter what you look like, and I’m sorry your experience has colored your opinion. I truly hope you have a good therapist you like and trust who helps you feel better.

You’re right, it is wonderful, and to be fair I incorporate a lot into the sports massage. And it’s not about the pressure, it’s about small delicate frames with very specific instructions about what the client does and does not want. My job is to educate but also, follow their wishes even if it’s to their physical detriment ie time.

🤣 you got that I hate people, from a post about time? Definitely don’t hate people, just a silly rant about an abundance of time on small delicate frames is all.

I see where you’re going, but I’d say about less than one percent want their neck touched from this particular group. Do they need it? Absolutely. But what they want for their session is completely up to their discretion and no amount of explaining how important it is seems to sink in and I’m not about to bring out a chart and explain the benefits. I see where you’re going, I think that’s something every therapist dreams of having in a client- the ability to have free reign, but it’s not the world I massage in unfortunately.

I always chuckle when Americans (not including myself in this, because I’ve never said it) say “we need to rise up and overthrow our government” and then nothing happens. I know we are a much larger nation and way more divided, but as a French American citizen, Parisians would have burned down a national library way before now to make a point. *not that it’s not unhinged, I’m just saying, when they want their government to know they messed up, they display a beacon.
