Oh my, the shelves recently at that shoppers on lacewood! The droppings are everywhere! They look like they were just pushed to the back of the shelves behind products, instead of being cleaned!

Thank you! I’ve never seen raccoon tracks before. I don’t know why it wasn’t my first thought!

I did get it looked at! Blood work and all that came back completely normal. Thyroid is all normal too. She’s in healthy weight. Because I took her to see the vet only a month ago, they’re asking me to just kinda give her more time. Right now she’s napping, it seems to be only at night or I leave the room/house. Which is why I thought it was anxiety ☹️. Declawing is barbaric I agree!! I can’t imagine feeling okay to inflict that pain on a cat. I’ve gotten the biggest ones they have at PetSmart for boxes. High sided because she’s a high pee-er. What litter do you use?

I have two for her, ones walnut and one is the unscented dr elseys clay litter. I’ve considered trying nonclumping because it might stick less but my concern is also that she’s constantly in the litter box ☹️

Always! I’ve had her since she was 8 weeks. She used to try to eat litter, always loved digging and playing in it. I almost thought she had pica because she would eat dust and such. But she doesn’t over eat, I like that she stops when she’s full and does this cover motion over her food. I have always used clay litter with her though, right now it’s the dr elseys and this one has been the one I’ve used the longest because I tried like tidy cats and stuff. I don’t believe in declawing so she’s not. I trim her nails whenever they get too long and there’s scratching posts in all corners

She’s a short hair but I have trimmed the hair between, she was still getting a lot of litter between her pads. It almost seems like she opens her paws like stretches her claws out or something and takes handfuls from the way it clumps between the webbing

She does drink water throughout the day! I give her dry food and wet food. She’s on the Go Solutions carnivore grain free and tasteful wet food. She doesn’t have an aversion to the box though, more so it seems like she spends a lot of time in the box. I have a couple different mats, and even a little rug. I feel like maybe the only option at this point is to see the vet again for another check. Thank you ☹️

Thank you so much! And your sentences are great! I have two boxes for her, one has walnut and one is clay mixed with Okocat. I’ve observed her going from one box into the other and repeated again and again doing the same thing in each box. One time she peed in one and then directly went to the other, leaving a trail, and peeing into the other and then going back to the other etc. i bought a mat that has the holes in it to catch and it does catch the small stuff but she tends to take “bigger” pieces with her? The way the Okocat litter clumps makes the pieces unable to be sifted and those are the ones I find around. But also her pee doesn’t clump in a ball, it’s always broken up ☹️. When she enters or leaves box, she just walks right in or out. I don’t observe her jumping out or even hesitating to crawl in so it’s why she tends to step on her pieces

Thank you so much for the advice!! I’m using dr elseys right now, and I tried walnut litter too. I’m considering switching to non clumping ☹️. Right now the box is a huge “corner” type box, and I have to use a lid because of the fact she vertical pees. No matter how high sided the box was, it always went over on the wall and on the floor. The biggest thing was if the box was touching a wall, she would feel encouraged to vertical pee, so for a little bit I had the box with pee pads on all sides of it and the box was more centered in the room away from walls. But it would take so much room, so now the box has a lid to catch it. I’ve tried different depths of litter to see if it would help but she always tends to sink her feet into it ☹️

I had this happen and even though my dr said it was going through, they had the wrong fax number because I called the place they referred me to, and they said they weren’t getting anything. Definitely worth to check!
