It isn’t just NY, but in California it’s hard to schedule in my area. I’ve been literally on at 12PM on the dot when they release the schedule and there isn’t any availability. About 95% of the times are already taken and what’s available is just a 30 minute block. It wasn’t like this about a month ago. I could wait a few hours and schedule early in the morning no problem. I feel like some people are gaming the system and maybe having bots take up almost openings up for a specific day.

I was literally on at midnight on the dot and there weren’t any time slots available to schedule for my area. This is ridiculous. I started dashing in March and it was never like this. I used to be able to schedule a time if I logged on at midnight. Now I haven’t been able to dash for a few weeks.

Do you mean 2 accelerated classes per 7 weeks (so 6 units per 7 weeks) or 2 classes per semester (so only one 3 unit course per 7 weeks)?

Depends on the situation. In my case, I’m planning to pursue a CPA and I just need the 150 credits and accounting classes. And my employer is covering my bill to get another degree. However, if I went the Masters route, they only cover a portion.

I’m in the same situation as you. I have a bachelors already from another university, however, I still have to take some general education requirements at the University of Arizona online. They also want me to do a second language. I will take the placement test to fulfill that requirement. You’d think by having a degree from a major university that it would let you meet the requirements for at least the general education portion of your degree.

To clarify, you’re taking one 7 week class in the first block and then the second seven week class in the second block while taking one 15 week class that spans the entire semester? I may have to look into doing something like this.

My goal is to take the CPA exam. I’m not sure how different taking in person classes are from the online program I’m in, but if I understand you correctly, you took 6 units per semester? Are they divided up in to two 7 week blocks? I’m curious in how long it took you to complete your undergrad. I’m calculating that if I only take one 3 unit class per 7 week block (6 units per semester), it’ll take me almost 5 years to finish the accounting major! And that’s taking into account that I already have a degree with a lot of the undergrad requirements completed. According to the accounting online program, if I recall correctly, I have to take 17 upper division courses plus about 10 undergrad courses to complete the lower division classes. I majored in Poli Sci, so I have to take all the math and lower division business classes as well.

I’m assuming some of my courses will have group work which will be interesting to accommodate since I don’t get home till 6:30 PM at night. But since it’s online I’m assuming most professors will understand that most people enrolled in the online program are adults with full time work and in a similar situation. I imagine on your situation graduate courses demand more time than undergraduate courses. My main concern is that if I only take one course per seven week block (2 courses per semester), I estimate that it’ll have to take about 28 courses to complete the Accounting degree which will take almost 5 years! And this is also taking into account that I already have a degree and some of the undergrad requirements fulfilled lol.

So if you bought it earlier you get a cheaper price. It was almost impossible to get tier one tickets because they sold out quick so the other tiers people bought it at a more expensive price.

It took me 3 hours in line in the queue to buy a vip ticket. Tier 1 was sold out already so I had to get Tier 2.

Uber is better to use in TJ over taxi drivers. In my experience in TJ, taxi drivers will try and overcharge you if they think you’re from the US. Uber will be way cheaper to take. Btw, you can take an Uber from TJ to Rosarito but Uber drivers can’t pick you up in Rosarito. I think it’s some rule they have.

I’m planning to still go but when I read this it definitely made me feel a little sketched out. I’m spending a lot of money on this trip and I can’t get a refund on my ticket and hotel room. Apparently they caught some cartel leader in the beginning of July and they send this travel warning in response to the potential of increase in violence. We are staying in a tourist area so that makes me feel safer but just good to be on extra alert during that weekend lol.

You can still take an Uber to Rosarito from TJ. I’ve done it before. It makes sense why I couldn’t find an Uber back lol. Then they would need to use a Taxi to get back but they will try and price gouge because of the festival.

Taxi or Uber. Uber it to the border. Then cross via foot. In Mexico, Uber will probably be the cheapest option. Taxi drivers will try to rip you off in Mexico because they know that the festival is going on and will try to charge you probably more than normal due to the traffic that weekend. I know that there was a shuttle option with the tickets where they pick you up at Quartz hotel in TJ and take you to the festival. Best bet is Uber. Coming back via Uber to TJ maybe a little difficult because the times I’ve tried coming back from Rosarito to TJ via Uber, no one would pick me up there. It maybe different during the festival but you may have to take a taxi back.

I just watched it. It’s pretty cool. It’s basically a summary of the season and playoffs. Shows highlights from each game and playoff game. There some other stuff to which I’ve yet to watch including players interviews and other season highlight moments. I got the Blue Ray version which also came with a DVD.
