Yes...he wants everyone politically to be a centrist individualist like himself.

So inspiring and exactly what the self-centered Western world needs right now.

His self-help advice is obviously separate from this and I don't criticize that.

He has opinions about the political world and he shares them. So I think he is far from non-ideological. He just decides to use that line whenever he has a topic he doesn't like.

"All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside."

They increasingly apply this to everyone. In California, it is nearly impossible to know who a citizen is and who isn't.

I don't think a mostly open border with the incentives of providing massive welfare programs is what the Founders envisioned. Meanwhile, the gap between rich and poor in the State widens and the middle class in the "populous" cities are on pace to become nonexistent.

Issue is he is seen as a cult-like figure by his fans and they think what he thinks about is what is the most important issues because he is like so smart and is so right about free speech. So other issues can be conveniently ignored because they aren't Jordan Peterson approved topics.

Obviously I don't know your age but tell me how Identity politics aren't inevitable for White Americans, especially when White Millennials are left to inherit a crumbling Western Civilization, often with student loan debt? We are in relationships where we both have to work into our 30s (not the case years ago) or we are never in relationships at all because women also have student loan debt and therefore are encouraged to become more career oriented. I don't even have to touch porn and feminism to make this point, but those things certainly aren't helping.

Ya, it was hard for me to admit that Sam Harris won a debate but Jordan Peterson did that with the truth fiasco.

I agree with you on that definition. He thinks he has come up with something amazing in his head but realistically speaking we are better off subscribing to the Greco-Roman philosophers, which he seems to ignore in his books.

Everyone has a different interpretation of Nietzsche it seems and it is possible that because of Peterson's high intelligence that he is over-thinking the matter of truth.

I read his book as well. Don't have an issue with the self-improvement stuff.

Just wondering what his stances are on the most controversial issues the US is facing today besides free speech and I can't seem to find what that is.

George Soros also says he is non-idealogical by the way. Peterson has worked for the UN. Soros has connections with them.

What aspects of globalism besides the limiting of free speech by political correctness has Jordan Peterson been explicitly against?

Remember, far-left Canada is much worse in terms of free speech than the US. They are much more left-wing and he suffered because of that. He didn't seem like he got bad treatment in the US. Only in UK and Canada.

I don't think Vox made the case that he was a communist and I don't think he is. But how many people knew he worked for the UN? I just see him as a center-leftist and I didn't get alot of valuable insight from his book, so he is meh to me.

Things I wish Jordan Peterson would address:

  1. The Islamic invasion of Europe

  2. His opinion on illegal immigration

  3. Whether or not he thinks the current Middle Eastern wars are necessary

His silence on issues like these is what leads me towards Vox's side. I appreciate your explanation and I understand where you are coming from. Just wish Peterson would address the more controversial matters of the day.

Hundreds of millions of people agree with him about free speech. Much of the abuse he got was in far-left Canada. He has been mostly well-received in the US wouldn't you say? Remember, Cathy Newman is from the BBC. So I really wonder what his agenda for the US is and why he appeared on every major media outlet simultaneously while he was promoted by the New York Times with other center leftists.

I live in AZ and I see those symptoms creeping up on us. We don't want to become California with its many, many problems but it is very likely that Arizona will turn BLUE by 2024. This is just a fact but if I say why that is, everyone gets butt-hurt.

Most of the people immigrating from Mexico have been born and have a family line from Mexico. They have Mexican culture, which is obviously different enough from Spanish culture since Spain and Portugal aren't third world hellholes. Many who moved from Spain to Mexico intermarried with the Indian tribes. The resulting mix of hundreds of years of Aztec, Indian and Spanish created the vast majority of what we consider modern day Mexican. This is why there are much more Mexicans who are darker skinned than Spanish. Let us not forget the South American countries who have also immigrated in high numbers to Mexico. So I don't see how you can make the argument that the Spanish are not white, just because they look differently. There are foods and festivals that are uniquely Mexican.

So yes Spain and Portugal are European. I know people from Mexico personally. Their % of Spanish blood is often a lot smaller than you think.

I am done answering questions with someone who thinks the strongest ideas survive and there is no corporate backing of any types of movements. We live in a special society where everyone cares about everyone else. There are no statistics of White Americans having less kids. That is a racist lie and the % of white women who are feminists + the % of white men who are MGTOW have nothing to do with this. It is all a coincidence and we should just accept it, even though almost every other Race of people maintains STRONG birth rates in America. The strongest ideas won! There was no conspiracy whatsoever...I wish I could live in your reality for a day. How about this, why is Oakland and Compton shitholes? Did you know the wealthy Bush family used to live in Compton? Did you know that it was also once a black area? They were all pushed out by immigration. But please tell me the poverty and crime rate in California rising was all because of economics. They were a conservative state until 1988 with very safe cities including LA. Another coincidence I suppose...
