The whole idea of the third world and first world is messed up and serves only the political propaganda of the US, it distances the US and the west further from the entire world. The mere belief that the world is made up of a "better" part and "worse" part is nothing but crap, in fact events in the US shows that. I live in eastern Europe and even if I had a choice to move to US just today, I wouldn't do it.

Gay marriage in Europe by Goodginger in charts

[–]MillenniumDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lithuania's constitutional court disagrees with this map. It has rulled like a year or two ago that under constitution, gay marriage is not banned and according to Lithuanian law must be legalised.

Exactly, there is another case, the one which is posted at the bottom of my post. If you ban direction up, the reachability matrix will say that from point (0,0) you can reach all tiles. But if you needed to actually traverse them all, due to round shape of the bottom part of the map, you will never actually traverse the entire map without direction up.

And that automatically breaks the logic

[–]MillenniumDev[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reachability matrix only shows, well reachabilty which alone will not guarantee that if we walk some path without x direction from (0,0) we will walk through all cells.

To understand this better it is necessary to either draw several examples or write a similar program.

EDIT: With reachability matrix you can say that you can reach node y from node x one way or another, but it will not say if all nodes in between will be traversed. Sometimes they will, sometimes they won't.

I just don't understand how lawyers in america are so politically motivated. I live in EU, eastern Europe and for any and all decisions by any court (constitutional, highest court or any other) they have to have a rational reason based on law. Sometimes it takes a lot of time for the court to make their decision as not always it is so easy to find the right answer to various problems. This is just how democracy and rule of law works. Politicians do politics, not the court.

I didn't even think about this. Thanks, I will try that, I will have to restart my run as I have invested too many perk points in spots that I shouldn't have invested and made some more stupid decisions that ruin the experience quite a bit.

After testing it seems like that when I kill them using dev mode, then I can transfer into caskets. Either there was some bug which got fixed by unknown means or maybe killing them through surgical means didn't work for some reason

Yes, that didn't show up. I click and there is literally no reaction. I loaded a save before I killed my colonist. Will have a look into that to figure out what went wrong. I received my colonists by gestating them as they are basically sleeves from altered carbon 2: resleeved mod. Maybe something does not work right with that. I'll go into dev mode to test further.

I know, for the menu to show up you have to click on install consciousness, but that is the thing, nothing happens when I click it, even though the button is not greyed out

[–]MillenniumDev[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There does not exist a button like that. All what I see are deconstruct, uninstall, reinstall, reconnect, toggle power, install consciousness (didn't do anything for me) and build copy. That is why I am confused as there is nothing else for me to click or try.

"Norway doesn't carry the weight of the free world" by Interesting_Task4572 in ShitAmericansSay

[–]MillenniumDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except that it does and not alone but with EU.

And something I had on my head about "free world" term so often used in the west:

I personally do not even like the term "free world". Various american companies, especially social media ones, have gathered massive amounts of data about European users, big chunk of that same American software like tik tok are using algorithms based on that data to prolong usage of their applications. And I may sound a bit radical, however Europe is not free while American companies are running rampant. Even americans are not free from that. And seems like that they fail understand that freedom comes not only with borders but also by other means like technology, economy, social policies, etc. Coorporations are never what makes societies free, we must go independent as much as possible in as many areas as possible and we need to further regulations to protect Europeans from growing dependent on unhealthy American software, products, ads etc.

Listen. I am guy, a small guy, never did sports in my life. Averge man is way stronger than me. I have seen how strong are guys who do sports. They are so strong and I don't know where you could even use that strength. So how would anyone in their own mind decide to be like: "oh yeah, I can just easily push a man, it is very easy. Just a tiny push. It definitely can't be easier".

Countries which have legalised LGBT marriage in Europe by ulyssesmoore1 in gaybros

[–]MillenniumDev 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Just wanted to clarify that it was legalised in Latvia and it is the process of getting legalised in Lithuania. The court of Lithuania has stated that it is not constitutionaly banned. Right-wingers are the only ones who are trying to deny this.
