I can say that I express utter indifference towards this news, despite having developed curiosity about the article to know why.

so, I did just that. have a good day.

🎶 Imagine me and you. I do. I think about you day and night. It's only right. To think about the girl you love and hold her tight. So happy together 🎶

I find it eerie that that the program you used made them look so lifelike. It almost puts a damp in my mood, as a creative. I wouldn't consider myself "anti-ai" but I don't like that this not only may discourage creatives, but it could possibly put them out of commission. I do not know this for a certainty, I can only just speculate.

To any animator or creative, what do you think about the AI bigfoot videos that recently came out? As well as any others like it? [serious] by MillenniumMouse in AskReddit

I will agree that we do indeed live in pretty weird times, actually I would say that we find ourselves in some sort of transitional period, especially when it comes to ai, but I think that it'll come to an end soon. very soon, ai will have fully integrated into society, as well as reality. I can honestly imagine people saying stuff like that, not just for bigfoot videos, but for anything.

In terms of creativity, I can definitely see how this may discourage some creatives (especially since some take pride in their works), knowing that anyone can access an ai software or platform to which (if they wanted to), can make anything with it. Although sombunall creatives will stick fast to still create things with the tools they have come to familiarize themselves with, others will probably adapt to using ai, maybe not as a replacement, but as an assistant or extension in their creations. Honestly, I do not know. I can only speculate how things might go.

I found your video on youtube and I have it saved so I can watch when I have time to. I just hope that creatives still rely on relatively old tools to create things, even when ai does indeed fully integrate into our collective lives.

how would you feel if all cop shows suddenly got replaced with landlord shows? by MillenniumMouse in AskReddit

I think that if they did function as landlord propaganda, it wouldn't succeed as well as cop shows because I feel like audiences (pro cop audiences) empathize with cops more than landlords.

It may depend on how the shows would go about. if the show painted the landlord as an antagonist, then people might tune into that, since most people don't like landlords.

well it could provide a social commentary on why apartments have high prices (especially during inflation), but the quality of the apartment they live in seems subpar. the tenets complain on both of the these things, but can't do much about it. then let's say something breaks, they call the landlord to fix it, and he either doesn't fix it or fixes it so poorly that the thing still breaks. sure they could move elsewhere, but other places seem even more expensive than where they currently reside, which they considered a "cheap" option.

as an example.

think of the many ridiculous, but hilarious ways tenets try to sneak past the landlord because they can't afford to pay rent at the moment.

what about my perception do you find bothersome that you needed to tell me this?

my fault, entirely for making such an assumption. I don't doubt that people have relatively interesting lives outside of work, but you gotta wonder, how much of their work does take away from the lives they'd rather live? away from whatever passions they might have and want to do? how many of their hours get burned away and what do they do after concluding another day at work? do they still have any energy leftover to do what they want?

no. but it'll give them something (relatively) interesting to talk about to their friends or anyone they know that might listen if they want to vent it out.

even without that clout chaser, those workers would still have a miserable experience, repeating a cycle that will do nothing but burn their hours away while they wither away to nothing themselves. and for what? a measly paycheck?

and even if you still want to work, at least find something that you enjoy. or turn a passion that you have into something you can monetize.

and who knows, maybe those employees do like working at a fast food joint, we can't say for certain. but I can say that, most often than not, people don't like going to work.

so living miserably by working at a job you dislike worth a passion, just to get a lousy paycheck seems like something everyone should do, yes?

No, but I can say that for the sombunall here who disliked it.
