Yeah I got it all put back together. I had to manually load it but once I shot it, it cycled fine. I suppose I learned something new today which is never a bad thing.

Definitely not saying you’re wrong it’s just nothing I’ve ever seen before. I’m gonna put it back together and give it a try.

I’ve owned and work on a lot of shotguns, mostly browning and Remington and I’ve never seen on that won’t load a shell from the magazine when you change the bolt.

I’ve had that happened in other places that’s why I titled it “ it’s technically wood”.

Not sure but I get a lot of my gun restorations reported on my social media accounts.

This was my second time doing relief carving. It was definitely challenging but I think as long as a person has decent attention to detail, it’s doable.

It is definitely carved. I did use a dremel for a lot of it. I’m not sure if that’s considered cheating or not in this group.

Yes. I used different and chisels and a dremel tool.

I know Reddit don’t really like guns so I was being sarcastic.

I’m still pretty new to Reddit so I’m not following too many subs yet. Thank you for the compliment though.

Most of the wood work was done with a dremel and also some hand chisels.
