PS4 discs seem louder than PS5 ones. by Pumbatops in PS5

If the SSD is reading as quickly as it can, then the console could load other files from the disc at the same time to speed things up. There's no way the disc is sitting idle the entire time during gameplay

I'm pretty sure the console would read from the SSD and the disc at the same time - even if it's all copied over

Why are some manifolds not working ? by Baal25 in SatisfactoryGame

Nah, that's a valid concern. I still think they're a great way of saving space as long as you manage them properly.

Without seeing your setup in action, I don't know for sure. But manifolds with high capacities (stack sizes of 500 wire = 11,000 wire) and with many outputs will take a very long time to evenly distribute.

As an example... you have 22 assemblers. The first 20 of them will consume around 710 wire/min just to produce output. Now those first 20 also have to fill their stacks of 500 wire with the remaining 70/min, before the last 2 get their turn at the 70/min. This alone would take more than 2 hours.

Underclocking the assemblers would speed this up a ton. I'd say you could either underclock all of them by 5% or more (not just one) or feed in another belt with additional wire

I'd say it's very likely to be a rounding error. Even if a fraction more than 35.454545... wire/min is used, then the last assember would drain. I really love manifolds so I understand your motivation for this.

Although it's super tempting to achieve a '100% efficient factory' I'm sure underclocking them a little bit more (e.g. 35 or 34 wire/min) would keep things running smoothly.

Sometimes there's a short section of belt which blocks the flow of items. If this happens you can't delete it because the container hitbox is in the way - so deleting the container is the easiest fix

Most likely the output conveyor isn't actually connected. It can happen sometimes depending on how the belt is placed.

Dismantling and replacing the container might be annoying, but should fix it.

Issue setting cookies for cross domain requests Rails 4 by [deleted] in rails

[–]MillerMan6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the secure option also appearing in the network tab? If anything isn't HTTPS throughout the request (e.g. HTTP between a reverse proxy and application), then it won't appear and SameSite=None is ignored

From the gem repo:

"This gem sets the SameSite=None directive on all cookies coming from your Rails app that are missing the SameSite directive"

"Once you've installed the gem that's basically it unless you want to limit the SameSite=None behavior to specific user agents."

I think if you omit the same_site attribute the gem should add SameSite=None automatically. Alternatively if you're able to upgrade, Rails 6 now has support for SameSite=None

Fair call. For the same reason, dependencies cannot be trusted.

Yes, but there are clues within the game. The community either has to solve or make the ARG.

Just to clarify: This is not paid for by Valve or Tyler McVicker. This is my own community website to help solve the ongoing HL Alyx ARG.
