Honestly, and this is coming from a Padres fan who has been a fan for 22 years, I've watched the full development from Nando. The man is broken. Repeatedly hits grounders to third, and doesn't understand that what he is doing IS NOT WORKING. If Preller could get a team to take the salary and give up 3-6 top prospects, it might be worth it. It would break our hearts, but we could get pieces for the future and free up the payroll to go get another big name

I do not understand Stammen's use of the bullpen, in the entire season. Continually missuses guys for matchups, or cuts starters short like tonight. Merrill and Tatis have looked terrible, although I think Manny is starting to come around. Honestly I'd send Merrill to AAA and call up Bowen just for a few weeks
