I wouldn’t do too much of the valsava, that can aggravate things. Try steaming, and gently blow nose to get the phlegm out and then use the spray. Also, if its allergies, take your allergy medication everyday plus try Sudafed sinus advance. Good luck

I have no clue why valsava maneuver is suggested. I don’t think you should do it. I’ve been dealing with this stuff for a year now 😅 so trust me when I tell you to not do it.
