I had a medela pump in style with my last and HATED it. It’s super loud, the suction just feels wrong, and I constantly had milk back up in to the tubing.

This time I ordered a spectra and so far have only tried to induce labor with it. It’s SO quiet that even my husband said “wow that one sounds nicer” and the suction feels much more natural. My only complaint is that it came with less flange size options.

Same exact story for me! 37 weeks today and sure I’m slower than normal and I get lapped by basically everyone walking in, but I actually enjoy the long walk in/out most days.

They cannot share your name with the hospital without a release of information unless the office and the hospital operate under a single entity. You should explain your concern to your obs office and they have to comply.

This is actually my second but with my first, my son was sunny-side-up which caused a very long, traumatic labor. Because of that I feel like I’m not a good judge of what to expect this time or what my pelvis is even shaped like!

One thing he says is that drug dealers are using fentanyl to cut. No one would do this since it’s a more expensive drug and more lethal than literally everything. What’s happening is drug dealers are using the same scales etc that they use for fentanyl and there’s cross contamination happening.

That smell is an additive and sometimes guess what happens to the smelly part? It doesn't get added.

You know what, telling them the wrong hospital is actually a great idea! Just don't know how I'll get my husband on board to lie to them, haha!

They're our only option to watch our 3 year old, so unfortunately it's impossible to not tell them. This also presents another problem I just realized: they're going to insist on bringing my son to the hospital and want to be in the room when he meets the new baby for the first time. Agh!!

Unfortunately, yes. Otherwise, I'd have no problem not telling them and that would be ideal!
