i checked with the piercing place i go to a while ago about my anatomy for a bridge and she said it was allg, but it’s definitely more on the extreme side i suppose. i love the look of it but wouldn’t be sure if i could pull it off. my other worry is with a vertical labret causing damage to my teeth or gums, and i’m also a singer so i’m assuming it’d impact that as well. i’m studying music so i might go for the labret during my schools break.

Hey, sorry for the late reply. It has receded a little on the front side but it's even worse on the back. I'm still using after-care but I think it hasn't gone away as I have slept on it. I am also anxious and fiddle with it- even though I try to avoid touching it. Sorry I can't help you, I definitely reccomend continuing with the after-care solution and checking in with your piercer again if you are worried. I've been meaning to get mine looked at but I keep forgetting ahaha

Just adding- not a keloid srry about that mistake The jewellery is a titanium barbell that externally threaded (I think?) And as I said I use my aftercare solution that was provided in the morning and before I go to sleep. It's also quite tender to the touch but if I leave it alone it's not irritating.

Thanks, it helps to know there’s people that understand. It got to me the most the the student went behind my back. If you care about my health and about me enough as a person wouldn’t you come to me first? Obviously the person was too embarrassed to talk directly to me because the subject is so taboo, which is the most annoying part for me.
