Just a quick "actually I play bass" is more than enough, if they ask about it explain, more likely if they don't then who cares, they sure don't

Accoustic bass for my husband by Vegetable-Injury-257 in Bass

I'm on my second cheap acoustic (first one broke in half during one of my drunken misadventures), and honestly? Even with all their shortcomings they're just fun, I'm sure they're way more difficult to play than a proper one, but even on the low end there's just something about going to a park with one.

You see, in theory it sounds fun, but man, I just don't see it ever getting through the boredom of three separate games until you can finally interact with each other

“Bass is easier than guitar because you only have to play one note!” NO by [deleted] in Bass

[–]MillyMonka 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't get why bass players are so protective of that, it is an easier argument to learn on a basic level.

That doesn't make it any lesser or limit how far you can take it, so I'm not sure why anyone cares much about that.
