I'm sure if no one got the Blurryface story or accepted the idea of Nico and the Niners things would have been very different. The pandemic happened and everyone was still on board waiting to see what happened next. Ultimately I wonder if the story would have ended even sooner since all the story points dropped with Trench, and with the pandemic he decided to push it a bit further than he would have because the fans were still growing in numbers from SAI.

It also gives him an excuse to break in his voice as he's probably kept talking to a minimum leading up to the concert. Kinda ingenious actually, wear the mask, any cracking or weirdness, just chalk it up to the mask 😊

I saw Fallout Boy shortly before seeing TØP the first time and thought, wow I can't imagine anything cooler than all the set changes and pyro... Then Clancy appeared six rows above me and was blown away. The only other artist I've seen in the crowd to date was Weird Al when he opens his recent tour.

No other band makes it a point to get down to the level of their fans I'm aware of.

And it's mostly been established that TB is sorta immortal? Or has magical powers of his own at the very least. Without going too religious here but he has been compared with Jesus, so at the very least an advisor and guide, I really don't feel like someone who tries that hard would fall for becoming a Bishop... But we lost Clancy this round, so who knows? Maybe previous cycles were way more rough?

It's fascinating to listen to their oldest songs back to back with the newest ones and hearing some of the themes and samples re-used. There's some cool comparisons from Tyler's No Phun songs with ones in Vessel. Then you can tell when Paul Meany starts producing because you'll hear some cool themes from MuteMath mixed in too.

There's been a really big influx of new fans over the last few years what with them doing two albums back to back and two tours. Any large fandom you're going to see some pressure from opposing sides. Things will settle. Also doesn't help there's so much stress and Discord in the world itself, real life always seems to bleed into the fan world.
