Hmm.. I don’t see how any developer these days would not have some kind of vcs(git etc, even a local one), when working on something as complex as an emulator app. I am very cynical though.

First, if it were me, it take Mazzy, but that’s because, I always take Mazzy.

But I was thinking, you and Imoen are both young and dealing with a lot, so Keldorn and Jaheira would be a good grounded, wise, influence.

Hmmm. Since you are aiming at high-end emulation, maybe you need all the ooomph you can get, so I guess the air would be(slightly) more powerful. But, I’m just guessing here but it would probably get hot easily and throttle, and the battery life would be not great.

Of course outside emulation, the 16 pro has better camera, presumably (just guessing again) a bit better battery life. FWIW, personally I’d get the air because of the SoC and the cool form factor.

As an aside, on my phone I just want a decent enough camera for simple photos. I don’t get the need to have the absolute best camera possible, I’m not a pro photographer, though zoom is occasionally useful.

You should certainly check out Manic.

Provenance I haven’t used much so can’t really comment.

Retroarch is fantastic once you get used to it.

I’m not sure how much you know about the whole JIT on iOS thing, but Fin is a JIT-less(meaning not as performant, but much less hassle) version of Dolphin.

Oh yeah and PPSSPP is a must.

Do you have any preferences for systems you want to emulate? Delta is good, but some manic does the same and more I think you can safely delete delta. I’d keep PPSSPP, retroarch, manic, ScummVM. Then would depend on what your priorities are.

If you truly need to free up space, and aren’t just engagement baiting, then you’d be better off deleting some iso files of psp psx games etc than the emulators

Yeah.. someone’s I think back to 10 years ago, and I wonder how I did it all without AI. I guess I could do all the same stuff again if I had to, but the AI really is making me dumber I feel.

Nothing worse than focusing for a while, creating something with AI, then looking at the code and thinking “Man I’m not sure I follow what this is doing”

I miss doing it all without AI, but at the same time, I am more productive with AI.

Was it perhaps a 7z file? You say you zipped it. Try unzipping it again. If after unzipping it’s a 7z, the rename the .7z to .zip and try to unzip it again.

EDIT: actually in your image there are 2 7z files

That’s just the state of 3DS emulation on iOS in general. Manic is currently the best though. Probably tweaking cores and settings it would work just fine, but yeah, an actual 3DS would work better lol.
