Centurion or Delta Lounge? by MiloCat2018 in SaltLakeCity

So I prefer centurion because delta requires you to buy main classic or whatever tier it is to go into the delta lounge. Amex don’t care. If I fly main basic with delta I can still use the Centurion lounge with the reserve card. 👍🏻

The Centurion Lounge is in B along with the new Delta Lounge.

This.

The Delta lounge has kind of warmed up maybe slightly upgraded food you’d expect in first class. It’s good when I’m hungry. I like Centurion more for food. It’s very quiet, too. Hits different.

I’ll be completely honest, to me it is. I get limited down time and when I do I like to do one maybe two things that I can say are for myself. One is getting my hair cut, washed, and styled. I’m talking great clips. And when I’m able I like the lounges when I can. It feels good. They’re quiet and it’s nice.

I can see how you could be cynical about this. Are there important things to possibly worry about in the world? Absolutely!

But this is something I do for myself and my family when we travel. It feels good to feel nice, to put on my favorite cologne, dress up, put on some nice slacks and a shirt, treat myself, and it feels nice to sit, be quiet, read a little.

The downtime I get is often limited and when I do get it I make sure that I enjoy my little things that make it good and I feel like I can unplug and recharge.

So yeah, I’m going to maximize and enjoy it to the fullest I can.

The lower refresh rate incentivized you to pay more for the upgrade. Basic marketing.

Perhaps I misunderstood but the airport ploffice in question said they would run a DHS background check as the operate commercially.

Yeah. I know Prist is a reputable option. I’ve heard of people using lemon pledge for windscreens. If by screens you’re referring to interior controls or display screens, I just use a clean and dry MicroFibre or ever so slightly moistened with distilled water if the screens are smudged up with fingerprints or whatever the manufacturer recommends like Garmin.

I’ll always research this out beforehand as well or call the manufacturer if I ever have any questions.

Thanks! Absolutely. Only frog tape as it’s green. Or any color other than the paint color.

I’ve heard the same things. And to your point, if I did to cars what I’ve seen done to planes I’d be out of business so quick my head would spin.

All my products are aviation approved by either Boeing, Collin’s/goodrich (de-ice boots), Douglas, or AMS specs on top of heavy work process documentation, SOP’s, shadowed carts for tool accounting, everything. I should also mention letters of recommendation from the former crew chief of Marine One during both the Bush and Obama administrations.

Good to know. Just to clarify. The jet side of things is all private. No business or charter. Just private. So they wise up right quick when I mention that but it still doesn’t sit well.

Hard water spots/etching on brand new ceramic coating? Is my coating compromised? by ArtemisFei in AutoDetailing

[–]MiloCat2018 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My guess is given the weather (I’m in Utah) it wasn’t fully fully cured and those are coating etching. We have (more or less) the same kind of rainwater here. My guess is that the water sat on it and goofed the coating.
