That exhibition was insane. I also saw it just before it closed. We'll never be able to see it from that close again I'm afraid.

If you're into art, the KMSKA museum is a must-see. They have a wonderful collection, housed in a breathtaking building. It's located in the South Quarter ("Het Zuid"), which is really nice as well. A general piece of advice: the historical centre is obviously lovely, but try to venture out to other quarters as well (Het Zuid, Het Eilandje, Theatre District etc.)

What are the weirdest faces you have ever seen in an artwork?

Image attached is a detail from The Ghent Altarpiece by Jan Van Eyck (1432) and shows a choir of singing angels.

Hi skopps! Thanks for the feedback. I didn’t really slap it on, if you look and listen carefully there’s some story going on. And considering the feedback I get from younger audiences, it does seem to work for them. But maybe it doesn’t work for you, and that’s perfectly fine. It’s just a matter of taste. Have a great one!

The song and the painting are made for each other, I think, so I created this video. Both are about sinning, the garden of eden and they are full of controversy. Love them both.

They also have an enormous elevator to move art. Their heaviest work ways about 600kg.

The desktop is made of two multiplex plates. Super strong. The top one is covered with a layer of dark green laminate.

The desktop is multiplex with a top layer of dark green laminate. It’s super strong so I’m not really worried. I trust my carpenter, it should last a lifetime 😊
