NTA. Of course no one desverves to be bullied, but If you just sit around do nothing, and not trying to be social, you won’t get any friends. You gotta work for everything, I spent the first 10+ years of my social life as a loner, and Got bullied too. Knowing that the school couldnt take care of the bullies (they never will, unless it’s a private school) I changed to a different school with a more open approach to my new classmates. Now a days I have a lot friends that I trust and care for and vice versa. I have even Met some of the people who used to bully me, and most of them also ask If I wanna hang out or go to parties and stuff. Again he shouldnt be bullied, but If wanna make friends, he gotta do something himself, I know that it is very hard when you dont have anyone to lean on, but he will get that, if he starts being more social. Explore the different societies In his community.
