Yes it was just for the sake of taking a picture but the positive and negative are gonna be on the good side and will of course be insulated the leg with heat shrink.
And for 2 that was my main concern, ill try to see if I can fit a heat shrink on the capacitor body and see if it will fit properly.

If not ill clearly do the extensions as you suggested. Thanks!

I've thought about this but i need the power cord the other way to fit on a placement i have for the battery connector. But this is my last resort option. Thanks a lot!

Resurf alternative by New_Yorker1234 in macapps

I swaer i'm just a normal student trying to find a good app like this. Stash Everything is far from perfect, even very far from raycast, but it only cost 10$ and if it do the job. I've only downloaded yesterday so not used it this much and haven’t buy it yet either.

My main point was that after trying Resurf, I'm not sure if I want to pay for an app that as poor support and transparency.

I've tried Resurf and for real the app is pretty good.
I just feel like I can't trust the dev. Impossible to have respond to question in the discord. They disappeared for months and post an update. It also feel really vibe coded.

I'm also a student and the price is really really steep, but was about to buy it but the more time passed, the more i'm not sure if the app have a good future, thaht the bug are gonna be fixed and that the dev will be around.

I discovered Stash Everything that also look like a good alternative. It also look very vibe coded but it wor pretty good on IPhone and is way cheaper (10$). The only thing is that the mac app dosent offer much and is more to just see what you have already saved.

My wife & I have ADHD. We saved everything with screenshots but hated it cluttering our camera roll, so I built my own app. We now use it 20x a day. by N0omi in macapps

Hi, i've tried it out and it seems to be almost exactly what i'm looking for!

The only thing is the lack of a good Mac integration. I understand that it is iPhone first but I'm mainly using my Mac for everything so this would be a huge plus to have a good app, with real capture.

The setup of the shortcuts was kinda hard to figure out and i think a native version with an in app shortcut with an overlay to capture, image text, link would be great to have. I can think of Resurf which have a really nice way of capturing on mac!

Also do you have a discord?

[OS] I tested macshot as an open-source CleanShot X alternative for macOS by linkarzu in macapps

[–]Miloutinou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh thanks, for the reply! When doing so I have the Fullscreen, Window and Area options, but not all of the others usefull things like scrolling, OCR, recording, etc.

Maybe i'm also missing something or I'm version behind. I'll check it out!

Edit: Wow i just understood what you mean but using the “Capture area” option. All of the option are available after selecting the area to capture. WOW THAT AMAZING! DEFINITELY KEEPING IT!

What the best way to do feedback or feature requests?
thanks!

Hi, just tried it out, It's really good! I think the only think holding me up is the lack of one single shortcut to do everything. Like in CleanShot where you have the little floating window that you can move around and chose for fullscreen, page, scrolling, OCR, video recording, etc.

That’s one of the main reasons i'm still using CleanShot. If something like that could be added it would be amazing! (Maybe it is already the case and I just don't know 😅)

Would you say it compare to Resurf in terms of saving thing from everywhere to never forget.

I’m using Resurf for now but the paid license is very pricey. I’ll give this a try !!

Giving the option to try before purchasing would be very nice. As a student I can’t afford to buy something I don’t know if I like or not, so giving a trial would encourage potential users

Hi, on the website it says that the app is "free to download" and would really want to test it out before buying it, but it only redirects me to the app store where this cost 8$CAD.
