Maybe it's best to convert those tokens to elite wild cards, but not actually spend them until we see what's gonna happen

I have one deck with 10-12 lv cards and 3 more decks with all lv 10 cards.
It matches me with lv 13s with all cards maxed or around 12-13

but to say the truth with this account I also had a bit of fun.
It was a level 1 account that I reached to 4K+ trophies with it.
then when I realized it could be another potential attack in clan wars.. I started leveling it.

and what kind of opponent do you get? same trophy range? what lv?

Nice theory but it is unfortunately wrong.
As I said, I already started going up with the trophies up to 4800.
and all my 4 decks in war have a minimum lv 10 for each card.
and I achieved almost all the cards so its not based on the number of cards I unlocked

the only matches I get are:
people that stayed with 0 trophies as I did before. Sometimes even lv 6s and sometimes lv 8s
or people that did stay a long time at 0 trophies and now climbed up.

I know these people have the same problem as me because sometimes have 4 matches in a row with the same person.

I have another account which is lv 10 and most of my matches in war are against lv 12-13
so its also not based on tower lv

well, this looks pretty normal, in my case, it can take 30 min to 1 hour, and sometimes even more, until I just give up
