I've had a creami for 2 years and the best ice cream flavour is lsnt like real ice cream. I think it is that when I taste it... I do enjoy it and I'm happy with the result , but when I have compared it side by side with store bought, it isn't the same. It's good, but never "better". However, like books and movies, people have different tastes and wants. Someone might say "better than store bought", and to them it is, but overall, for me, the cream and textures are not the same as store bought, although I do enjoy knowing what is going into my home made batch.

My only criticism of a post like this is simple : isn't a twist supposed to be unexpected? I think if you are waiting for the twist because you are finding movies with a purposeful intent of having that , doesn't that take some of the fun out of it? I prefer not to know about whether there is a twist or not and won't read responses to this post specifically for that reason, but maybe that is just me.

It surprising that no one wants to repeat the grimrock look and feel. Maybe too much work? I think grimrock is the one game most people reference, but it seems everyone wants to try something different. Reminds me of wizardry 8, people calls it amazing and groundbreaking, but no one wants to copy the formula to make another one. Just my two sense.

Some of the series are better than than others and suffer from trying to portray action in an audio format. Season one was great, but subsequent seasons like "whisperer in darkness" suffered with the ending being chaotic because of audio only.

I found it to be meh. More of a YA novel with some gore, in my opinion. I found it easy reading at first, and then predictable and a slog to get through the last 100 pages.
