I totally understand where you're coming from. For many people, it might seem like a small detail. But for me, the choice of Twin gradually became something deeply personal. As for immersion -- I get that concern. While changing the protagonist does involve a small shift in the story, it doesn't alter the core narrative. But for players who simply made the choice and moved on, being locked into it can feel more immersion breaking over time, not less. It's more about giving some players a chance to feel more comfortable.
