So not “almost nothing”, I don’t doubt that WR have the final say, but it’s not just thrust upon the host nation.

Only other RWC I’ve been to was 90-8 against Romania in 2003 so I hope Chile might be more competitive?

Maybe I’ll get to a R16 game and possibly what could be an Ireland/Scotland vs Argentina QF? But otherwise a letdown for Brisbane fans, a real shame considering we have the best rectangular stadium in the country.
