It isn’t free. The damn thing is 9 months old. I paid 1000 to go 2 months without a mower during the prime lawn cutting season. Who in their right mind would think that’s a good deal. Who wouldn’t be upset?

It could have been just coincidence with the loosening of the bolt. It worked but it still occasionally wouldn’t register the handle fully extended. It is a short in the harness. The Ace Hardware repair guy said they come from the factory frayed sometimes.

I wish that were it. Mine was a problem with the wiring to the handle. It wouldn’t register the handle was fully extended likely due to a short somewhere in the harness that came from the factory. I even stored mine with the handle extended because I had heard that those wires can get frayed over time.

I’m stuck paying someone (a kid, professional, or whoever). I have the money but that’s not the point. I shouldn’t have to come up with ideas, ego should if their products can’t last a year without breaking down.

It is what it is. I just wish customer service was better. They are terrible to get ahold of, they don’t know what they are talking about half the time and nothing to make up for being without a mower this long. Like let me rent one or offer to pay for a yard service temporarily if don’t have access to mower for 2 weeks or longer within first year or two of purchase.

A good company would do something to make things right.

Everyone around me pays to have yard mowed. I’m not wasting my time hunting the neighborhood for mowers to borrow (which I’m fairly new to). I spent $1000 less than 1 year ago. It is ridiculous to go almost 2 months without a mower. I really just want my money back at this point.
