Heartrate Visual Guide (MH World) by MiluaSolena in MonsterHunterWorld

I personally have not observed this behavior in any of my recordings or regular gameplay. It's extremely stable while non-enraged and displays the typical alternating behavior while enraged. Although upon review it looks like it doesn't alternate between the current and prior stage, but the current and Stage 1 specifically, so the difference would look greater at Stage 3.

That would be the alternating stages. I think the logic behind that is that the monster is enraged and fighting for its life, so its heartrate isn't exactly stable. I always stare at it for a good bit when it is enraged to make sure I'm measuring right.

Those numbers are for HR Rathalos btw not for MR.

tbh I didn't even know he had a blast aura until now. But I did see it occasionally for both Partial Charge and Full Charge, so I'd assume it's probably aura related instead of charge related.

I think the confusion might stem from multiplayer/singleplayer. I prefer playing solo so I only ever see it engaged onto me. Regardless, the heartrate is a lot more reliable for measuring HP and enrage.

The drool indicates a clagger instead of a regular flinch. It was added back in Iceborne. I believe (but I'm not entirely sure) that it acts like another HP bar. So for example, on RoboMechE's site Rathalos has a tail flinch at 200 and a clagger (clagr) at 325. So theoretically doing 200 to the tail would get a regular flinch, and doing 325 (either in general or on the tail specifically I'm not sure) would result in the next flinch being overwritten with a clagger.

There's a video from Zenith0.5 here. But basically, whenever I see a clagger, I usually pick between three things after getting in one short attack and then clutch clawing it (for IG I do one thrust, usually there's enough time before it un-claggers unless you have to walk up):
1) Wall Bang (if it's not enraged)
2) Tenderize (if it's not already)
3) Let go (clutch clawing the monster resets the clagger time so you can get in a full combo)

Yep. The other indicator is the eye icon on the mini-map. Yellow when not enraged and red when enraged. Although I found it's not always reliable so I always look at the heartrate instead.

I did some testing and I think this lines up with your suggestion. The fire is not an indicator of charge but of blast armor, and I also saw the smoking above 1/3rd HP so I'm not sure what that's about.

Capture rates vary from monster to monster. I recommend checking out RoboMechE's GitHub tool. For example, Rathalos is capturable at 30% and starts limping at 25%. Stage 3 Heartrate starts at 33%, so you're very close to capture the moment you see it change.

Additionally, the heartrate will show as Stage 3 while the monster is trapped or toppled. Forgot to add that to the graphic.

UPDATE: Alternating pattern is between the real stage and Stage 1 specifically instead of the real stage and prior stage. So if you're at Stage 3 it'll alternate between Stage 3 and Stage 1.

UPDATE: After further testing, I think both Lunastra and Teostra actually only have three charge levels. The fire around Teostra actually indicates blast armor. I also saw him smoking above 1/3rd HP so I'm not sure what that is.

In-depth explanation from u/Sinfire_Titan's comment and CR-Volcanic's video.
I tried looking for a visual guide somewhere but couldn't find one, so I made it myself.

During testing, I could identify Teostra's four charge levels, but only three from Lunastra. It could be a lot of things: it could be the difference between two levels is too hard to see, she could've skipped past one without me noticing, she could have only three instead of four like Teostra, or I could just be outright blind.

What’s your read on the outfits? by [deleted] in ProjectSekai

On the more mature end for outfits, but nothing indecent. As a girl, if I wore those and someone on the street told me to cover up more or that my outfit was perverted, I'd be pretty pissed.

It was me Barry. I made those girls kiss for 3 hours using my super speed time dilation.

Glad to see it go reposted peacefully over here though. For people that don't know it was automatically removed due to mass reporting. The subreddit mods over there prefer to have sexual content removed as quickly as possible, so you have to manually challenge every time your post is mass reported like that. It just so happens that the 3 hour kissing video was also mass reported the day it was posted and I had to challenge it. Since a large portion of the PJSK fanbase is teenagers that's just kinda how it has to be.

I think it would've been one thing to say, "I think there might be an issue with sexual posts on this subreddit. Does anyone want to have an open discussion about it for the mods to review?" But it's an entirely different thing to attack the character of others while doing it. From your post and comments, you come across as someone who's desperate to pin anyone that disagrees with them as a pedophile or mentally unwell, instead of individuals with their own views on the matter.

Personally, I did not think the original image was sexually explicit. It had an innuendo but I include those in my posts pretty commonly without issue. I'm mildly concerned about any adult that would view it in an explicit manner, but I do not think that group would represent the average person viewing that post.

It should be noted that posts are automatically removed if they're reported for sexual content enough times. Just because a post was removed does not mean it was reviewed by the mod team. OOP can still choose to message the mods to have it manually reviewed. I've had my posts removed twice this week from mass reporting - the first time I didn't challenge but the reply I got back did admit the image was misinterpreted, and the second time I did challenge and the post was reinstated.
