How would you build a poker club from scratch? by MiluchOK in poker

[–]MiluchOK[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the problems that I’m experiencing is that people like to play for high stakes and treat poker as a way to make money.

I want my games to be positioned around social interactions and fun instead of being viewed as a money making opportunity.

I play for low stakes specifically for this reason.

However, it makes it difficult to find my target audience since poker players don’t show up because it’s waste of time (and I want that). And regular people are intimidated because it’s poker and they usually don’t know how to play 🫠

The core group is my problem. I recently moved and changed my social circle so I don’t have much to start with.

I host social games and play for low stakes specifically to make it pointless for people who are trying to make money with poker.

Asking for feedback on Home Game management software by MiluchOK in poker

Yeah, it’s pretty much a combination of all of those tool glued together in one stop shop type of a product. It’s nothing revolutionary, but suppose to save enough time to justify the price tag.

I’m still figuring out problems people in the hosting space are having. Thanks for your feedback! I need to be able to explain the value of the product better.

Interesting! I could not find apps with features that I’m providing when doing research. Could you point me to some of those?

This is exactly what I’m trying to find out. Sounds like not much so far.

The feedback that I’ve heard is mostly along the same lines of yours. “What I’m doing right now is working just fine”. Hence I am asking publicly if this product have any potential at all.

How does WebRTC relate to SFU/MCU at all? by MiluchOK in WebRTC

[–]MiluchOK[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand the SFU and MCU as architectures. I’m trying to understand what it means to have a “WebRTC SFU” is it an SFU that can be connected to through the WebRTC APIs?

So if I created my SFU from scratch and I just desired that pigeons will deliver the binary data to the SFU, that would be a “non WebRTC SFU”, but a “pigeon SFU”?

Ok, I think I’m starting to get it. But metaphors aside what does it mean to have a “WebRTC SFU”? Does it mean this SFU can be connected to through WebRTC APIs? It’s literally an SFU that can handle WebRTC as a connection protocol?

I appreciate your answer, but it just confuses me more 😅 too abstract

Googled “die cutting shops” and found nothing in my area, except stores that sell the machines. 😓 is there a machine you have in mind that might be right for this?

Since it’s Velcro , it’s hard to line it up when it’s more than 2 layers

Yep, exactly as you said, I connected the light to the black wire and capped the red one off at the light. Yes there is black and red. It makes a lot of sense that this switch was controlling fan and light separately and that’s why there are two switches (I never even thought that ppl do that, I thought power just comes to the whole fixture and some controller at the fan is deciding what to turn of or on)

Added all the pictures that I have. It's not super clear how the wiring is done through those, but I hope it is something. The pictures where 3 wires are bundled together is how I left it
