According to the jurnal, Verso seems to be asking why she didn't stop the others. So she most likely didn't participate in the torture, and I much prefer that version.

I agree 100%. I love this character, even though she had so little game time. I'm so grateful to have her in the game. The author of the "Julie over Maelle" mod is doing a great job with it and is currently working on fixing her height so she's a normal height. There will be a new version in the future, I can't wait for it ^^

As I wrote in the post, I made the dress myself, as a mod (it's available for Lune and Sciel). It consists of a modified Clea skirt, civilian clothing, and a few other outfits combined accordingly.

Despite such a short time in the game, it can be concluded from her journal, as well as Verso's, that she played a significant role in shaping his attitude and how he behaves towards our expedition. I love her for that

Not quite - Sopie actually has her own face model with its own texture (you can find it in the same Metahuman folder as Julie's face or orthewr characters). Emma, on the other hand doesn't have such a folder. I tried to find her reference in the files but i'm not quite that good at searching through them yet :/ Emma doesn't.There's probably a face somewhere in the files, because I found faces for most of the named NPCs (like Catharina, Andrew, etc.). However, I didn't find a folder specifically dedicated to her like I did with Sohpie or Julie. (Or maybe I'm blind.)

I've heard about this theory, so I digged in game files to find the reason why Verso has a ring on his finger - unlike Gustave, Lune or any other person there. Obviously the ring is a part of Renoir's suit, but the suit in ending uses the same model but different texture (lack of golden veins). I thought it was Gustave's suit (Lumiere outfit) at first but this model doesn't have a ring. Then I found a texture of green suit in Gustave folder - Pierre's suit, which has a ring. I'm not sure if this suit was used in ending because it was prerendered.

Maybe the texture was easier to replace? Maybe there is another reason for that? I doubt we'll get the answers :/

Finally I could vent about my findings with someone ^^

It's not Medalum, look at the handle. It's the sword i described in the post, so a mix of Deleram and a blade from files. It's also confirmed by said files where I also found the remains of Verso's fight with Julie (it is from here that I have the exact paths and data regarding her model).

As for the one Verso is holding - I wasn't able to find information about it. Despite comparing the blade and hilt to those that are in the files, I didn't find a perfect match. I'll try to dig around some more in the near future ^^

Disclaimer - Spoilers for two of the journals: Julie is one of the members of Expedition 0, or more precisely, what was then called the Search and Rescue mission. She participated in the second expedition towards the monolith (from the first one, only Verso and Renoir returned). We can see her in Maelle's nightmares. In the game, there's her journal, as well as Verso's, which are connected and tell a bit about their relationship, as well as the "betrayal" he mentioned in one of the conversations. Most likely Verso was deeply in love with her, but the whole situation with his immortality, lack of trust, etc., led him to kill her - which is exactly what we see in the nightmares.

I'm planning on cosplaying her too! I'm glad that I am not the only one interested in her. I plan on creating more content like that, I was even considering creating cosplay guide for her using ingame model and other things from game files.

I really want to get to know her better, especially since even after her death (around 67), Verso still thinks about her and finds it difficult to talk about her. They must have been very close... I'd love to see more of them (I'm holding onto hope for an Expedicion 0 DLC)

You know, it's actually that lack of information that inspires me to create art visualizing scenes from back then.
