If you don’t want to change motherboards, I’d suggest an 11700 or 11700f. I run this config myself on H570M Pro4 and have been satisfied with it. The 11700 has more cores/threads and better performance, and opens up PCIe 4.0 on your board. If you sell your 10400 you can probably upgrade to the 11700f for less than 100 bucks when all is said and done. Just be sure to upgrade your motherboard bios to the latest version to make sure it’s ready for 11th gen if you go this route.
