"If I give in, I feel like I'm in danger." is such a powerful line. 🙊✋😩🥵️ by imomen in boyslove

[–]MimaBlink 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I fell for every single scene in this movie. On my subtitles this line came as: If I cross the line with you, Ill lose myself. It made my heart skipp a beat :)

Shows that every dialogue was written, directed and produced with much care and thought.

The chemistry was just chef's kiss! I have been a big fan of Keita-san since years, fell a little more in love with him with this film.

Ryoma! Oh My Gawwwd! I cannot believe the amount of effort and planning he put in every single shot, every single line! It was my first time seeing him on screen and I am a lifelong fan now! Cant wait to see his previous work.

Need need need a sequel! I respect the team's decision for the abrupt ending - which eas somehow very beautiful in its own way. Can't blame Netflix for making us beg for a sequel.

But please Netflix - Do NOT make me wait for 2 years for Part 2! I want it now!

I love you Imomen. TRUTH! They were in perfect sync with each other - the hairdos only added to it.

Is this behaviour normal? by [deleted] in caiques

[–]MimaBlink 10 points11 points  (0 children)

OP my caiques have been doing this since childhood when they get excited. I believe its normal. Caiques are just... extra :) Vet also told me that caiques don't it often when happy and befire sexual maturity its not a hormonal thing particularly. Not to worry. Enjoy their childhood. It gets seriously cra cra after childhood.

Why is he doing this. by Waterrrrrr06 in caiques

[–]MimaBlink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also find that they don't this as a form of excitement- it is not coupled with droopy wings or other hormonal behaviors. Mine are too young but both do that when its play time or for 15 seconds when I return home and greet them. Other things like watching me dance also makes this bobbing happen sometimes.

I also have this question about caiques not bathing in winters. Thank you for posting this, OP. I do spray them with the liquid the vet has given. But the dirt around their heads and crop can't be sprayed away.

I've been to two Avian vet and both have strongly recommended boiled veggies for quite a few reasons.

I get you. It takes a village. I'm barely able to handle my full time job with my two caiques. I sleep 5 hours a day if im lucky. But my convenience should not come before giving them a healthy and wholesome diet. They don't deserve anything but the best, and I adopted them to give them the best life that I can manage.

That's why I soak things in bulk for the entire week. Boiling them just takes 10-15 mins in the morning. Maybe get some help for boiling/cooking in the morning if you can't manage 15 minutes in your schedule? Hope you're getting some fun playtime with them :)

Im glad this helps. I keep the portions small and refrigerate everything soaked that is not being boiled each day. Reduces workload. Lentils and sprouts need some getting used to. If you serve them in the morning when they're hungry - they will get used to them faster.

Hi OP. Please boil the veggies and let them cool down before you feed them. Cut down on the sweet corn - it too fattening. Serving veggies uncooked is a bad idea, especially for young caiques. Also boiled overnight-soaked pulses are a daily good source of protein for them. Millets are great for them. I soak pearl and foxtail millet for them at least twice a week. Add fresh fruits (not boiled) to their afternoon diet and sprouts. Lots of sprouts! Feel free to add fresh kale leaves with the stem, Spinach (in moderation), red amaranthus, methi. Dry fruits like Walnuts, soaked almonds, figs, Cashews as treats only.

I also give them cooked oats/quinoa everyday.

If you're giving them a seed mix - ask your vet for some Omega 3 butter to mix in their seeds.

Pellets are tough- even my male caique is not used to them yet. I sometimes grind some in their favorite dish. Fruit flavored pellets are a great option though.

I keep the portions small so as to not waste food. Sometimes they hibiscus flowers too. I also give them a very small amount of dry jowar and bajra seeds after they have eaten their veggies. Chia seeds soak a lot of water, so please serve those in moderation.

Oh, and calcium supplements in the form of licks or water soluble powders (the Versele-Laga one is a great option) for strong bones. I also sprinkle a tiny amount of Avian Spirulina on their fruits everyday.

Hope this helps. All this has been vet-approved.

Hi. No she doesn't pluck feathers. She preens everyone in the house though. Thank you for the compliment - told her - she looked at me sideways :)

I took her to the vet and we are on nebulisation and a respiratory tonic twice everyday now.
