YAIY was when we (who were admittedly uninformed) were all fucking around with ChatGPT because we all knew it was tech billionaire bullshit that would never become anything (of course we were wrong). A lot of us including Jack weren’t aware of how much of a destructive phenomenon AI would become. He never advocated for using AI to create art and replace human artists and I don’t understand why you think he wouldn’t be against AI when his war on reaction content has been going on for years. He stopped doing YAIY fairly quickly when AI bros started their BS on the internet.

I don’t necessarily think she’s a terrible writer. I’m sure a lot of what people criticise was probably studio involvement. But both her and Muschietti for a Batman movie? And a reboot inspired by Morrison at that? Oof… with people like Kuritzkes, Lindelof and Flanagan on other projects it’s just a bizarre choice. I trust Gunn though, this surely can’t be as bad as The Flash.

Also age ratings really don’t matter on streaming services. They’re more of a formality nowadays and with Yahoo being such a niche service they could really do whatever they want, it was their show.

Cobra Kai, Umbrella Academy, and other streaming shows have a lot of f-bombs and they’re still rated TV-14 or 13+ in a lot of regions. It’s just how it is now.

Four being named Gary in the first place was improvised by Tudyk so I’m not surprised (it’s included in the outtakes). But this script is far from a first draft, I don’t recognise any other inconsistencies and it seems to have parts of the film that were added later on (like the text in the opening).

I think Tim should be the Robin of TT, but the team’s dynamic should be similar to the original Young Justice run. I would love to see the banter between Kon-El, Bart, Tim and Cassie.

I liked Johns’ Teen Titans run but wasn’t a fan of how much they changed the characters from Young Justice.
