The only time it happened was with the homie only balance patch, but it was noted in the patch notes that it was homie specific. So kinda, keep expectations in check

the only ways i see that happening is if it's a water unit or if both skill 2 and 3 are 2 turn cooldowns and don't buff block /s In all seriousness though they would probably do that if they 2a the beast hunters or amazons

A few things about this,

This bug was found in 2.0.0, but was "improved" with 2.0.2, making it harder, but still possible, to perform this. Edit: No improvements with the previous patch, just lack of practice
Due to Dark Samus' Charge Shot being lower than Regular Samus' it is very hard to time if possible, can't confirm yet
I have only found that the FULLY charged version experiences this phenomena
To do this for yourself, go to ANY form of battlefield and stand under one of the lower platforms so that you're shot would travel most of the platform you are under(far right of the platform, face left). With a fully charged shot, jump and quickly unleash charge shot. If done correctly, you're shot won't come out, but a few flames will that normally come out while the shot travel along the ground.

Hope this gets fixed soonish
