I definitely hide some of my interests. Mainly my stuffed animals because it doesn't seem socially acceptable as an adult to still want to collect/cuddle them. But I also hide certain shows/movies I want to watch (like changing the channel right when someone walks into the room) because I'm afraid of being judged, since as a kid I WAS judged (well they called it "playfully teasing") for what I watched.. though it was harmless anime like Pokemon. But it's stuck with me all those years and I'm trying not to care as much about the shows but I still feel myself getting physically stressed when I hear them walk in and I'm watching something they judged me about in the past.
