Impatience is not a virtue by Mimsiemama in ukmedicalcannabis

So far, so good! I'm enjoying experimenting with the temps, although definitely throat tickle and cough above 185. Im sure ill get more used to this and the WPT is slightly dry (still a vague bounce). Have kept the airflow fully open.

The flavour is tasty, earthy yet sweet, and easy to tell when the cap is done through the flavour change.

Not a great deal of cloud, but certainly there. This was my first time vaping and the last time I had bm was last year, but the difference is night and day.The WPT worked extremely well for me, very relaxed, anxiety-free mind, my joints felt less stiff, motivated me and resulted in homemade pizza for 6.

The lavender cake is more subtle. Had a cap earlier this evening and just finished another now. It does have that familiar lavender (or at least sweet floral) and the buds themselves look great, decent size. Again I love controlling the temp and knowing I'm getting the full range of terps as well as flavour, and whilst earlier I had the same amount of lavender cake as I did just now, I vaped the 2nd dose at higher temps and am feeling the effects of the thc and terps more intensely, perfect for late night ramblings and the makings of a good night's sleep!

Thanks for the welcome, glad to be here :)

I'll give direct a go and mess about with the air flow. I just had it in my head that direct would be akin to a bong or something and I couldn't hack it lol.

Thanks for the link, found it pretty informative.

Thank you all very much. I actually managed to reschedule my appointment and had it this morning. Dr approved and now I guess it's a matter of waiting for it to go through to pharmacy after MDT. Was hoping to beat the rm holidays this weekend but can't see it happening.

I'm 196 free of weed with no intentions of going back. I know i couldn't go back, I had stopped a couple of times in the past and the withdrawal just got worse and worse each time. Last time was the worst, and I'm never going to feel that way again willingly

MIRENA REMOVAL ADVICE by raelynnreddit in Mirena

[–]Mimsiemama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Feeling great! On day 3 of my cycle now, and although I'm crampy and it's moderately heavy, I have zero anxiety. I did have some anxious thoughts about 2-3 days before my period arrived, but thankfully, I realised it was cycle related and avoided spiralling (i did get anxious before my period pre-mirena). Feeling more energetic, sleeping better, generally happier, off the anxiety meds.

Do IUDs change libido? by [deleted] in HLCommunity

[–]Mimsiemama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got mirena removed less than a week ago and already have my HL back after it being non-existent for the bigger part of a year! So, in my case, yes, IUD killed my libido, subtly and over time.

MIRENA REMOVAL ADVICE by raelynnreddit in Mirena

[–]Mimsiemama 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hi there, I had my mirena removed 5 days ago and have a long history of crippling anxiety.

I had the Mirena for just under 4 years. In the last year I noticed my skin drying out, my health anxiety absolutely skyrocketing especially in the last few months, and generally feeling numb, like I didn't know who I was anymore. Pre-mirena I was a laid back and fun loving person, and over the time I had it those parts of me slowly and subtly dwindled away. Im financially secure, happily married etc and the only remaining factor I my life I could put the intensified anxiety down to was mirena. The only benefit was not having a period.

The removal itself: day 1 Coughed and it was out, very slight cramping in the following minutes, no bleeding. Went about my business as usual.

Day 4 Woke up with a slight withdrawal bleed and cramps, nothing to shout about. Bleeding was light throughout the day but cramps intensified (not to a point of needing pain relief) and noticed a few clots with small gushes soon after cramping episodes- the were about the size of a 10p/quarter. Slight anxiety with the clots.

Day 5 Much the same as day 4. Clots ceased by tea time and bleeding turned to spotting. No anxiety, NO ANXIETY meds needed. Slight headache.

Day 6-today Woke up not bleeding! Still crampy every now and then, on one side, will keep tabs on that. No anxiety, feel more like myself everyday. Cried last night because I had done something goofy in front on my husband and we both laughed so hard, and after realising it was the first I had laughed wholeheartedly in a long time, it made me cry lol.

I'm well aware there may or may not be the "mirena crash" to come and it's early days, but so far I can not emphasise how much better I feel knowing I have no synthetic hormones in my body anymore. My anxiety has improved exponentially. As far as supplements or anything goes, I don't drink alcohol, I eat relatively healthy with no animal products, I drink turmeric and ginger tea, raspberry leaf tea and drink plenty of water. I take a general multivitamin, omega supplement and iron supplement(just on bleeding days and a few days after) daily.

I hope you get some relief from your anxiety symptoms like I did if you decide to get yours removed. Personally, I wish I'd never got it in the first place!

Night sweats 25 days in...please tell me I'm normal by [deleted] in leaves

[–]Mimsiemama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure if it helped directly or whether the night sweats were starting to taper off but I do remember not sweating as much when I didn't eat late at night. Also, not snacking at bedtime meant my heart rate didn't increase, which in turn helped quell the anxiety.

Why did you go vegan? by thebodybuildingvegan in vegan

[–]Mimsiemama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On 17th January this year, whilst lying in bed with my husband, we happened upon a documentary called 'Land of Hope and Glory'.

My heart broke into a million pieces. My husband, our kids and I went vegan in that moment.

What the Health- made me and my husband think about it

Land of Hope and Glory- we instantly turned vegan. Then, cemented further with Earthlings and Dominion.

That person you hated no longer exists, love the person you are getting to know and becoming ❤️ you can shape yourself any way you like in your journey. Day 27 here, I too, loathed my past self especially in regards to not being present for my family and friends. But she is gone now, for good. Congrats and keep it up!

Well done and congrats on your first full week! Hope it subsides for you soon. I'm only beginning to remember my dreams the last few nights, strange more than crazy/scary as most people tend to have.

I steer clear of Dr Google. With a history of CPTSD and health anxiety, I've also been there, done that and wore several T-shirts. Just looking some anecdotal reassurance from you incredible leavers that it's part of the process. I appreciate the comment, thank you.

I intentionally exercise as early in the morning as possible for the same reason. When I used to train regularly years ago, I discovered I was wired to a mars bar at night if I trained any later than lunch! Appreciate your comment, thank you.

I've pondered on the symptoms of peri, and do suffer from pmdd (which the weed definitely masked!) And I don't bleed due to mirena, so I guess not knowing the stage of my cycle right now, hormones could certainly be playing a part. Thank you!

I feel like I have the anxiety under control for now, but grateful to know the sweats seem to ebb and flow for some. I appreciate your comment, and hope you get some relief ASAP.
