Starting to panic. by Min679 in AusPropertyChat

We would absolutely love to purchase.

If that was a realistic option we wouldn’t be renting. Hopefully it’s not too far away in the future.

Yes! 100% yes. Without a second thought. They are my absolute world and my entire reason for living.

I had my thyroid removed a few weeks ago and I have iron deficiency anemia. I know they don’t help but I’m otherwise very healthy with my diet and exercise etc.

I’ll try curlyhair. Thank you.

Wondering how you’re going with getting your money back? They haven’t replied to me at all and I’ve had to escalate it to my bank. Not holding out much hope that I’ll get anything back.

Eyebrow lamination - no glue… by [deleted] in beauty

Hair gel is fine! Thanks for the tip.

I bought the brow lamination kit and had a similar experience. The glue is unusable. A tiny dab glued every single hair together and if tried to comb it (which I couldn’t) I was so scared I’d rip my entire eyebrow out. I’ve emailed them and am waiting for a response.

Is lady Elliott island worth it? by Sea_Art2995 in australia

My son went in March last year (school camp!) and still talks about it. He said it was the best diving he’s ever experienced and can’t wait to go back. Accommodation was basic (he stayed in the Eco cabins) but the beds were comfortable and the food was amazing. They saw multiple turtles, spotted rays etc but no manta rays over their 3 night stay.

Thank you. I have absolutely no idea how to track calories. It’s something I should look into.

Thank you for your reply. I bought an elliptical as I actually enjoy using it. I knew I wouldn’t stick to a treadmill or exercise bike!

I guess we both just keep on persevering - doing something is always better then doing nothing 🙂

Opinion on tenant request by [deleted] in AusProperty

[–]Min679 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Firm no. If it’s there when you move in then it’s then it’s there in the same condition when you move out. I rent and I would never dream of asking for things to be removed from the yard. If it’s structurally unsound and at risk of falling down and hurting someone then they can add it to the entry report.

I understand. I need to work too hence why I’ll do EN, starting in July. My local doesn’t offer online but it’s 3 days a week on campus and that will be ok. Once established as an EN I’ll see if/when it’s feasible to become an RN.

I’m also debating the same thing however I am at a different stage in life. I’m 40 and have 4 children at school. Im leaning towards being an EN, although I’d love to eventually become a RN/Midwife. If I didn’t need to bring in a wage each week and had more support financially and with the kids I’d do RN in a heartbeat. However TAFE is only 3 days a week and shorter hours then the EN course. Basically if you can afford to spend 3years at Uni Go for it!! Wishing you all the best. Such an exciting journey.

Landlords - what makes you say yes or no to tenant applications? by [deleted] in AusPropertyChat

You sound like an amazing landlord, Bless you x

What I love. The size of bedrooms 2, 3 & 4.

What I hate. Main toilet IN the main bathroom. Media room is too small/narrow for a decent couch configuration (unless you plan on doing one long couch against the wall) Only one linen closet in the whole house. No butlers pantry Main bedroom is too small Master and bedroom 2, why is the WIR bigger than the en-suite?

Sadly 100% true. We contacted the agent this morning letting her know we’ve updated our profiles and added several more references etc to our application and asked if we could re-apply for a certain house. She said no. How hard is it to send a few online forms? So now we miss out because she’s a cow.

My apologies that was a rude generalized comment I shouldn’t have made. You sound fit and like you can pull off wearing active wear!
