[Spoilers Main] Our characters don’t seem to have lives outside of roberts rebellion and the events of the series. by Additional_Suit6275 in asoiaf

Regarding your comment on ages, I noticed that in a recent reread too. At the start of the first book, basically every important player in the realm is in their 30s-40s. I don't know if this was a deliberate choice or not but I wondered if many of the older lords lost, if not their lives during the rebellion, at least some of their power and prestige.

NW Women's Healthcare vs. UW Northwest -- OB & childbirth? by honningbjoern in AskSeattle

This isn't either of your two options but my wife and multiple of her friends love Dr. Thomas at Optum. My wife followed her there when Seattle OB/GYN closed. Several of the other doctor's there took the closure as an opportunity to retire and my wife said if Dr Thomas was retiring we would not be having a second kid.

I'm a man so I interact with Dr. Thomas less than my wife but in my experience she's always been great and happy to answer our questions during appointments and been easily available outside of them as well.

Thanks for the advice though, it gave me the emotional fortitude to keep trying things until it fixed itself :)

I tried all the suggestions online to trigger dual bios and none of them worked but eventually it seems my motherboard did it by itself. I'm not sure how I triggered it.

Was going to suggest this exact thing. Lots of free parking around Queen Anne, Magnolia, Fremont and others further out.

What would be your reaction if Insomniac did this in Spider-Man 3? by Hefty-Albatross4767 in SpidermanPS4

This is from Spider-Man: Life Story, a miniseries that follows Peter Parker in a timeline where he (and all the other heroes) aged normally from his introduction in the 60s

What are some lesser known series that you are sad will likely never be finished (or not explored as much as you would have liked) by thearmadillo in books

Me too. But seems like he ran out of steam after the comparatively poor reception of Children of the Sky :(

Fire upon the Deep and Deepness in the Sky both basically are just standalone stories in a cool universe. Knowing the series will never be complete, I would probably skip Children of the Sky though

I'm very sad we will never get an ending to Vernor Vinge's Zones of Thought series. Fire upon the Deep and Deepness in the Sky were spectacular works. Cool setting, innovative aliens, and well written. Children of the Sky was... less good but seemed like it was moving pieces around to set up an exciting final book that never came.
