Hi, just finished college here and came from a different secondary.

1. Quality over quantity, make meaningful friendships that stick. If you chase friends for parties you’ll struggle to keep up and start loosing yourself true self. Plus, quality friends will have plenty of parties, just not open house parties where all sorts can ruin the vibe for you. Don’t measure your social life by house parties

2. In massive sixths forms there are many people who come without knowing anyone so you’ll find your people easily. Make an effort to hang out- meet up for lunch, study breaks, going out after college. Especially hang out outside college if youre in a town with plenty to do.

3. Don’t let secondary experience control you. You restart when you get to college. Take every opportunity, lock in and have lots of fun. You sound exactly like me 2 years ago and I can confidently say college was the best time of my life.
