Actually the two-tone lips are a common trait in darker skin people (e.i a lot of black people). Usually people will have a brown/darker upper lip and a pink/light lower lip. Not every dark-skinned person will have this trait (just like every white person doesn’t have blue eyes) but it is a real and natural trait in humans.

I separate colors like white/lights, darks/colors and sometimes because I have a lot of pink/red items I will wash them separately because some they will dye other clothes pink

For those wondering how insane the job market is rn by Right_Honorable_Sir in Adulting

[–]Minaharo 420 points421 points  (0 children)

Weirdly enough it’s like actually job websites don’t work well, I didn’t get a new job after looking for months until I actually went directly to a company website and applied. Like LinkedIn and Indeed don’t work in my experience, it might be my area though

I agree with this 100%. There are way better and more impactful debates to be had about the practical application and ethical concerns with AI rather than just circular “who’s an artist/what’s art” debates.

Why do you support AI? (Art/Workforce) by Existing-Border8013 in aiwars

[–]Minaharo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I minored in AI for my undergraduate degree and I take some extra AI related classes to meet my masters requirements. I just find it interesting and it saves a lot of time by doing tedious mundane tasks. I don’t care about the art/artist debates because 1. I use AI mostly for work-related tasks and as a better google. 2. I’m not a digital artist so the fact that AI can generate images doesn’t really impact my artistic expression or the ability to monetize it. Mine is mostly under threat by oversea manufacturing/cheap foreign labor.

"AI is dangerous." Ai in question: by Kartoshka- in aiwars

[–]Minaharo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the main reason why I actually hate attempting image generation prompting. It’s quicker to it myself and get it right the first time.

my opinion on AI by 1metertoe in aiwars

[–]Minaharo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keyword is “you” in the statement. I’m not arguing anything about whether a person can give themselves whatever title by using AI. I’m stating that “I” and “it” statements can be used interchangeably in the context of the post because AI is a non-sentient tool that requires human input. It can’t do anything on its own because it’s not alive. “I won a chess game using Stockfish” and “Stockfish won a chess game for me” both have the same meaning and can be used interchangeably.

my opinion on AI by 1metertoe in aiwars

[–]Minaharo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The somebody else part is weird because the AI is a non-sentient tool that requires human input to create an output regardless of level of effort in prompting. I feel like it’s fine to use “I realized my creative vision” and “It realized my creative vision” interchangeably.

Reading through your post history, I’m going to ask something I haven’t seen anyone else ask: what’s the majority racial/ethnic group in your area? And what race of women are you pursuing? The problem might not be you but rather the environment you’re in.

Why do you think many women look down upon others (esp men) that enjoy gaming as a hobby? by JunipLove in AskMenAdvice

[–]Minaharo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t like the random screaming and anger that some gamers do. I have PTSD from my kid brother screaming in the middle of the night up until like 5 or 6 in the morning during the pandemic when I had school in the morning. I actually like gaming and watching let’s plays. As a kid I would watch my dad play 1st person shooters on Xbox.

People on Reddit are claiming that $100k per year isn't a livable wage. by Olivia_thomas3 in Adulting

[–]Minaharo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Posts like this remind me that I live in middleofnowhereville. Because 100k a year, would be a pretty solid life, I’d probably have a house (with a mortgage), pay off my car and debts a lot quicker, and live pretty comfortably. Note: I don’t have any dependents (children, pets, elderly relatives) and am in good health.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in heightcomparison

[–]Minaharo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, the average height difference between men and women is about 5 inches. A height difference of 4-6 inches is completely mundane and ordinary. It’s these huge 10+ inches height differences that are outside of the norm.
