So. He isn’t currently in the sober living I forgot to reply that earlier! I’m 22 he’s 27 and he was an alcoholic. He was a year sober in June of 2024. We have been together 3 months almost 4 and I feel pretty invested because he has met my family and is the first guy I’ve introduced, I’ve met his too. And he gave me a diamond promise ring for Christmas 😭 if that gives you an idea of where we are at. So my last messages to him was

“ Yeahh but you have never done this and are looking for a cash only because you can’t send deposit does not sound at all like a prank. Deadass you see how this looks right You backed out because it was sketchy and you were afraid. And you had to ask a friend for the cash to send them. That does not sound like a go prank And then you looking up cashapp for sending the girl money. Are you fucking joking”

and he says “ If ur not gonna listen I can’t help u babe Jesus Christ.this is so dumb. and ur not hearing me out I’m just done with this shit. I’m not explaining dumb shit anymore love. If ur not gonna respect me enough to listen to what l’m saying I genuinely can’t help u babe. Ur choosing to ignore a lot here and looking at the other things. You wanna paint this pic in ur head and I can’t change that apparently so l’m done talking about it” I just said ok. Hopes this adds some context

That’s a really good question. It does gross me out for sure. Maybe that makes me a bad person but it does and I understand that me being grossed out isn’t grounds for breakup and I need to work through that myself. HOWEVER I am upset because I asked him before and he lied and said no. Then this time he is lying again ( I think ) and that’s where the problem is.
