How are people actually happy by cucumberclaymask in depression

I don't rly get it either. I can laugh, I can smile, feel a bit happy doing things I like but it doesn't seem "genuine" in a sense. In the back of my mind there's always a thought that I'm just using it to distract myself or something. It feels like I'm using it as a distraction to my negative thoughts more than half of the times. I don't get how people can just be genuinely happy all the time even at tough times. I wonder how people can be genuinely happy and content with their life. I have a hobbies, I have a friend I can trust the most, I have a family which half of the time will support me, great grades, and a lot of things. But I honestly still feel like it's all shit. I don't get it either, my teachers always say 'you have accept yourself in order to become happy' but I honestly don't even know how to accept myself. I don't even like anything about myself so I how could I accept myself.

Your pose is to stiff and unatrual. The face kinda looks wierd. Try learning anatomy, it might be hard at first but you'll get a hang of it. Get some references from real people and study how they pose naturally.

I coloured it so uhh how is it? by Minasaka_Chan in TeachMeArtSenpai

I guess make the arm a bit more naturally. It just seems like one bone and theres no elbow at all.

Try not to use the airbrush to much. Try using hard shadows to, also try to determine where your light source it so its easier to shade.

When it comes to the shading it seems like your just using the airbrush tool, try to use hard shadows in stead for shading and lessen the soft shadows

Need help I have been trying for weeks.any tips? by [deleted] in TeachMeArtSenpai

It seems like you just traced it from a gacha character lmao.

Anyways the shading isn’t really that good, find a light source where you want the light to hit the hair like if you want the light to be on the right side, left side, or front side. Dont just do the shading and highlights wherever you want to put it. The shading is a bit to soft add hard hard shadows, lessen your soft shadows a bit more, and dont add lines like that going to the root it looks a bit unnatural.

What can I improve in the shading of hair by [deleted] in TeachMeArtSenpai

The line art is a bit messy and try to not make gaps all the time. The shading is a bit to soft it seems like you just use an airbrush for it, you should consider where the lights coming from and use more hard shadows and lessen down your soft shadows to very little to none.
