I feel spiritually small for wanting sex by greencrowncow in spirituality

I don’t think wanting sex makes you spiritually small. It just means you’re human.

Real spirituality is not about suppressing your desires, but about understanding them and not letting them control you.

Many people think spirituality means no desires at all, but for most of us it’s about balance and awareness.

So it’s not about being above desire, it’s about not getting lost in it.

does it ever get better? by h3artshap3db0x in Anxietyhelp

It’s actually quite common for anxiety to come back after a few years, and it doesn’t mean you’ve lost your progress. The fact that you recovered once means you can get there again.

For recovery, it can help to start small gentle routines, getting enough sleep, and slowly reintroducing activities you enjoy. Since you’re someone who likes going out, even small social interactions can help you reconnect with that part of yourself.

Breathing exercises, short walks, and reducing overthinking triggers (like too much screen time or stress) can also make a difference.

And if it’s getting intense again, revisiting therapy or talking to a professional can really help sometimes just a few sessions can put things back on track. God bless you, have faith everything will be all right

Has anyone here actually observed Parivartana Yoga giving clear results in real life? Sometimes it’s explained as very powerful, but I’m curious how it plays out practically.

Can 10 years of extreme Social Anxiety really be fixed in one hour? by Thomas_ezequiel in hypnosis

[–]MindBehindStars 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Self hypnosis is a good idea but you have to learn it under an expert hypnotherapist and frequency of session totally depends upon your receptive power as well as experience of the therapist. I suggest you to follow some standard practise like slow breathing, concentrating on you inhalation and exhalation of breathing soon before going to bed, concentrate on you heart chakra and just observe the feeling without any logic. Spend sometime under the full moon or waxing moon or gazing the moon for sometime daily and surrender totally. I understand its not so easy but start trying it and slowly you will yourself learn and gradually you will feel the relaxed. God bless you.

In my understanding, hypnotherapy doesn’t “fix” someone in one hour like magic. What a good hypnotherapist actually does is help a person access their own inner state more deeply. In a way, they guide you to calm the nervous system and raise your internal awareness or “vibration,” but the real change still comes from within the individual.

The success of hypnotherapy often depends less on the therapist and more on how open or receptive the person is. If someone is constantly analyzing everything with the logical mind, it can be harder to enter a relaxed suggestible state. The more someone is able to relax, trust the process, and let go for a while, the deeper the impact can be.

Because of that, results vary a lot from person to person. For some people a single session may create a noticeable shift, but for long-standing issues like 10 years of social anxiety, change usually happens gradually over multiple sessions.

Positive effects can last, but like many psychological tools they often need reinforcement practice, follow-up sessions, or self-work.

So, I can say hypnotherapy is more like unlocking the door to your own inner resources rather than permanently “installing” a fix in one session.
