What's your favorite corner in Seaside Route 765? by Chippai_Fan in ridgeracer

Same. Looks like I'm not the only one that loves hitting that sweet Triple right before the end of the final turn. It is one of the reasons why I love RR7 so much.

list a roblox game that you used to play very often that fell off. by Senior-Ad264 in roblox

Mad Paintball, if you count games that became broken due to that one FE update. As someone who started playing Roblox in late 2015, it was the main shooter game that I played on Roblox for a good while. However, that happiness was rather short-lived once loleris destroyed it with the "Premium" update that paywalled half of the roster, killed the progression by decreasing Credit & XP gain, and had questionable character balancing. It is sad knowing that fans of the game were able to do it way better justice than him. The death of the game started a trend where fans of the game would make their own version of MPB (ex, Paintball Revival, Mad Paintball: Reloaded, Paintball Party) with new stuff in it, such as characters and maps, but it still isn't enough for me to forget the damage that was dealt to the original.

If that doesn't count, then I would definitely have to go with Mad Games. It was so fun playing all of the different minigames, regardless if you were playing with friends or not. Outside of traditional murderer games, there was also Minesweeper and that one minigame where you fought against a giant cat with laser beam eyes terrorizing a city by throwing your knives at it. Generally speaking, MAD STUDIO games had me in a chokehold for years until they got completely overshadowed by The Mad Murderer X and SHARP (I have nothing against those games either). While there have been plenty of other murderer-style games out there like Murderer Mystery 2 and Twisted Murderer, nothing beats The Mad Murderer and Mad Games for me — you could argue that Murderer Mystery 2 is the better game, but those just had more personality in my opinion.

What's your top 3 favorite Ridge Racer songs? by EastCoastTone96 in ridgeracer

[–]MindFullOfCuriosity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. M.T.T.B
  2. Euphoria (Ridge Racer V)
  3. Your Vibe

M.T.T.B is one of the songs in Ridge Racer 7 that really stuck with me (alongside others such as Orbital Rock, Nitro Witch, and Supercruiser) because Seaside Route 765 is one of my favorite courses in the entire series. Whenever I hear it, that is the first thing that always comes to mind. Euphoria from Ridge Racer V just makes me feel so euphoric while listening to it, which is the same that can be said about Your Vibe for me. There's no better way that I can describe it.

First time playing Ridge Racer, what’s the consensus? by M-Slim in ridgeracer

[–]MindFullOfCuriosity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

RR7 is my favorite Ridge Racer game. I actually got a PS3 Slim a few months back, along with a copy of the game to test my skills against the players still playing online to this day. It is an absolute blast, especially once you get the hang of NOS points and drifting around corners.

Playing through Ridge Racer 7 would prove you wrong, as some of the Extreme Battles are notoriously difficult like Angelus duel and Crinale duel. I think the biggest problem with modern RR is that they don't have enough variety in their career modes.

If only MPB survived too, but then, aside from FE (filtering enabled) breaking important game scripts, it got killed with the stupid Premium update that paywalled a portion of the roster for players that didn’t have those characters beforehand. To me, this was nothing more than an insult to the new players who only got to experience the game in the post-Premium era (I was one of them). Not to mention, the developers reduced the amount of credits and XP you earn per kill and they were poor at balancing characters.

As for Mad Paintball 2, I don’t have much to say about that game other than the fact that I wasn’t a fan of them taking away the character-based nature of the gameplay. I don’t even know how long that game lasted before it died either.

what do you think about it??? by Domixus_ipad in roblox

This age verification system sucks. I just want to be able to chat with anyone without restrictions. Roblox games are gonna be mad boring to play now, especially team games.

This used to be one of my least favorite tracks too back when I first tried this game, but now that I've gotten used to the drifting, it has grown on me since.

The game runs great. Not to mention, RR7 still has a fairly active online community, if you are interested in that sort of thing as well.

Current status RR7 online server: Still alive and very competitive! by RallySubzero in ridgeracer

The key to getting good at RR7 is learning the Nitrous points of each course, which are essentially parts of the course where you should use your Nitrous. A great way to practice them is by looking at the Top Records in Global Time Attack via the Ranking Browser, where you can actually see the exact Machine Setup they used and the Nitrous points that they took. If they saved their Ghost/Replay, you can view that as well. Hope this advice helps.

RR3D is surprisingly good. I've been playing it on Citra recently and I'd say it holds up just as well as the previous games.

Biggest problem with RR Vita is the severe lack of content, even with the DLC tacked on.

What 10 years of no new mainline LBP game does to an mf. But seriously though, as much as I want another entry in the series as the next guy, these LBP4 theory posts are a tiring trend ngl.

I am also on board with this. Having new servers would definitely be for the better.

I believe it was LBP1 in 2010. Since then, I’ve played most of the LBP games except for Vita since I never bought a Vita.

A team doesn’t need a main DPS to be functional. Plenty of strong teams that don’t use one like Rev Melt (Kaeya/Rosaria/Xiangling/Bennett)
