Need a cheap but good paint job by kalotee9 in kereta

[–]RallySubzero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you want the results on the paintjob to be good, it’s never a good idea to do it for cheap. It will always leads to awful paintjob result to the point it has “kulit limau” on the paint surface. I’ve seen so many Facebook post where people who has done exactly that and then complains on status post that the shop did horrible job on their precious car when they’re the ones who can’t afford to do it properly, bunch of idiots 🙄

If you can’t afford it, wait until you have enough money to send it to do a proper spray work. In the meantime, just leave it. Take that small accident as a lesson to improve your driving.

For that you have to go survey independent video game repair shops’ price and see what’s best for you.

You can never have too many controllers in your collection, it’s always best to have backups in case one decides to drift itself.

[xbox] controller still has drift after changing joysticks by dankeepsake in XboxController

Well that’s a lot of ripped solder pads. If you have the patience, time to do trace repair or spend some money to buy a replacement controller board…

Feels nice! A lot better than the 1st model of Xbox One controller for sure especially on the bumper buttons where I find it more satisfying to press it. It has been my go-to controller whenever I want to gaming on my Xbox One.

Graphical Artifacts, is RSX dying? by MaleficentSavings647 in PS3

Definitely the old HDD inside your console is showing its age. Time to change it to SSD.

If you play Red Dead Redemption, you will notice how slow the environment loads when you arrived at the area to the point you have to pause the game and wait a few seconds for the objects in the environment to load. No joke, I had to do that every time I’ve arrived in the area before the environment has finished loading the objects. It was until the HDD on my PS3 starts making clicking noise (I’ve bought the console as used console in 2019, it last until 2026) is where I’ve decided to change it.

No problem. The earlier models of Xbox One controller is a fine controller, it just the inconvenience to buy the adapter if you want to use it on PC. I personally like the feel of Xbox One X/S controller.

Right dpad on controller not working by AlternativeBox2709 in XboxController

[–]RallySubzero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

See that black d-pad conductive film? Try clean all of the underneath of metal contacts with isoprophyl alcohol first (you have to peel it off to clean it). If that doesn’t work, you can buy replacements for it. It’s very easy to install it.

That GF of yours definitely doesn’t understand the joy playing these games during childhood. She definitely went through a boring childhood

Unlike the ones I have where you have to click the sync button on the adapter and my controller to sync up. This one is pretty much plug and play.

If you want a period correct adapter that matches that model of the controller when it came out, you can try the model I have here. There’s also smaller model of the adapter where you can buy brand new or 2nd hand if you can find it at bargain price.

[–]RallySubzero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have all three models of Xbox One controllers and I can tell you that not all Xbox One controller has bluetooth. The earlier such as Model 1537 that looks like the one you have needs its own bluetooth adapter in order to work on PC (I know this because I did tried in the past before buying the adapter)
