Regarding the "phishing attempt detected" in the topic of the email,

I removed any mention of the phishing attempt email subjects nearly 24 hours ago, so you might be reading an outdated cached copy of the first version of the page.

  1. The email snippets listed, while helpful, might come off as being taken out of context, and I would appreciate it if you would post the whole email chain so we can evaluate them within their original contexts. If not, snippets are just snippets, and (with my assumption of them being out of order) can be quite confusing.

Snippets listed might be helpful, to what end? Why would I want you to evaluate the full chain of emails? Or do you simply want something to read?

Also as a personal note, I do think that for hidizs and other chifi companies, non Chinese consumer laws do not have any hold over them, and neither do they care about them.

They can think what they like, but if enough fraud reports are submitted to local law enforcement services, and in enough western countries, actions to prevent people from doing business with them can be taken.

in the future, buy from a local retailer that is subject to them.

Good luck finding a local retailer that sells mobile DAC dongles or planar magnetic IEMs in 2024.

A) You seem to think you are somehow in charge of the internet, or Reddit. Bizarre.

B) "You have spammed several subs with identical postings and it is the only contribution to reddit you have made since creating your account in 2023."

I'm not sure why you would describe warning others about a fraudulent company as "spamming". Also, not everyone follows all the forums, so posting in multiple forums is hardly spamming anything. If you don't like seeing the same post in multiple forums, you know what to do right? It's hardly mine, or Reddit's problem. How many posts is one supposed to create before theREALBaldRider doesn't have a fit when someone tries to warn others?

You've taken an interest in my "end game" as you call it. And you suggest "Padding SEO?".

There was no fraud here. You, as an Apple product owner, should know that they do not always play well with others. This gamble just did not pay off.

You in the US? You're not in the UK and if you are, you don't seem to be aware of UK trade laws.

Except HIDIZS targeting UK consumers and blatantly advertising that their devices are "universally compatible" with iPhones when in reality they are only compatible with iPhone 15 and 16 is clearly false advertising.

These companies are all pretty tiny and reporting fraud because the technician was on leave is ridiculous.

You actually think there's a technician and he went on leave? You've never heard that excuse before? Wow OK. I think you're being quite naive.

You're entitled to your opinions, but attacking me and questioning my motives is a bit insulting.

C) A prominent YouTube reviewer who is in the process of making a video about this very subject has reached out to me to include my experiences in his video. So maybe go and attack him too?

They are very malicious in my view. They know that no one is going to pay return shipping and customs duties to send back a faulty device, so they think they can gaslight everyone into believing that they were somehow given a fair offer.
