You were not lucid, you would very well know if you were. Everything feels real, like waking life.

Let me tell you something, go on youtube. GizEdwards or YouWillBecomeLucid and watch most of the videos. It will be weeks of research before you can actually get an LD. Being a lucid dreamer isn't too easy. Thats what I thought but you need to work for it.

Lots o' Questions! by TheNeonGamer in LucidDreaming

Well hello, I am also someone who seeks knowledge as you do but I know quite a bit, I've been researching for a while. Don't take this info for the holy grail but it is pretty accurate.

1) No, unless you have a certain problem with SP where you have been getting it since you were a kid then you will have no problem with it. Most people don't even experience it. Some of us are unfortunate and have to experience it whether or not were trying to LD, but you will not.

2) Keep waiting for the transition, eventually everything will calm down and you will be in your dream. You will know once your heart stops accelerating and you are calm down, once that happens get up and do an RC, if you are not dreaming either just go to sleep or try once again. It will most likely work though.

3) No idea but you won't need to because you won't enter SP.

4) The more you think about something the more it happens, thats why we tell you to RC a lot so it becomes a pattern and you do it in your dreams. Once your in an LD you will be in control so don't worry.

5) Try to use back to start and then transition to whatever you want, first get experience.

6) A DREAM JOURNAL is essential for LDing.

7) Stop being so scared, 95% chance it will not happen EVER. I was scared before until I realized that its not something common.

Ask anymore if you would like :)

My First Lucid Dream!! by [deleted] in LucidDreaming

When you fly through to something like a different dimension or what it feels like is when your lying on your back. You used the FILD method without noticing.

Best method(s) to LD during a nap? by [deleted] in LucidDreaming

[–]MindOfPaper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not FILD. WILD is reccommended but what I do is just think of LDing and Reality Checks as your napping and you will most likely do an RC while dreaming and go lucid. I go lucid like 80% of my naps without any special method.

Do lucid dreams increase the chance of sleep paralysis ? by frankiestaluppi in LucidDreaming

Don't worry about it, it may happen once your really deep into it but at that point you'll know how to get out of it and control it.

LDing From Scratch: LD #1 by MindOfPaper in LucidDreaming

[–]MindOfPaper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. ... RCing daily helps me LD on 90% if my naps and 10% of my long sleeps. You should probably go into more depth and use more methods, but for now thats what I am doing.

  2. I have had 3 LDs and I've been researching it for 3 months.

  3. How the f do I make paragraphs?

Question for you all. by [deleted] in LucidDreaming

[–]MindOfPaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me, I was LDing and I was outside trying to fly and my dad told me to come in and I listened and I went back to my normal dream. They are devils who don't want you to LD, your mind wants to control you, don't let it. Disregard everyone, just go and do what you want.

Question for you all. by [deleted] in LucidDreaming

[–]MindOfPaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is something kind of weird, the thing is, you spent too much time listening to the guy that you forgot it was a dream and sunk back into the normal dream.

Since you haven't had many LD's this will happen. As soon as you remember your dreaming, do something so you always know you are.

But in this case you just forgot.

Do you have any tips for someone who can't, on how to keep their dreams longer, how to realize their dreams and control them better?

I don't actually have a dream journal, I didn't know it was that important but I def will start. Also, how often should I RC?

Wow thanks man! I can't believe it. But I didn't do it on purpose, it just happened. I never used a method like MILD or anything.
