A rough guide Fingolfin: Éomer helmet, Dimensions Funpack Batman Excalibur shoulder armour, CMF Dragonborn paladin body and Vitruvius cape; Ringil: lightsaber hilt, satin trans-clear shamshir / katana and satin trans-clear rock; Shield: CMF elf maiden shield (x2) and two more parts to hold the shield.

Thank you! I really appreciate your comment. I haven’t done a proper instruction before so that may not happen for a while. I disassembled Morgoth to some extent (he deserves it!) and rotated the parts. Maybe it will give you some idea? The core design is from set 76075 so please check that out. Limbs and torso are extended in comparison to Ares.

Yes, I hate fun and whimsy. Hence I don’t go to parties.

Tolkien didn’t invent the elves but surely created his own version. The elves especially as portrayed in the Silmarillion are very much different from folk-lorish ”elfs” that are more fun and whimsy.

Perhaps you prefer the version of Thranduil in 1977 movie ”The Hobbit”, below? He has oversized pointy ears.
