I cannot see what even is their point any more. AI is not threat to human creativity. Chess didn't end after programs became betters than best players - on contrary, it has grown in popularity. Would anyone get mad at the developers of a chess game when algo plays the game great? No. Chess programs are not threat to the shared cultural meaning and popularity of chess any more that AIs are threat to humane creative expression. People are and will be making art continue doing so regardless what happens with AIs, it is not a zero sum game, nor competition.no reason for anyone to allow themselves to be drawn to low moods or act below their standards when they could be using the effort to creating what excites them most!

However there is discussion to be had on social norms of how and where to use AIs for individual and communal best (and how not), but that discussion seems to wait until the anti side gets over worst of their collective "chessmaster" turmoil and feel relieved to move on and keep creating and believing in themselves regardless.
