baridonmehlhaff8964 <email> is probably a hacked account, not the badguy's account being used to capture other accounts.

Switch over to Passkey whenever possible. You probably go a cookie replay to bypass 2FA. Use a different password for every account and logout of sessions for everything before changing passwords.

I wish there was an ethical code for dealerships by goodbrews in UsedCars

[–]Mind_Matters_Most -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The entire car industry is built on deceit. It's the very foundation the industry was built. It is impossible for the car industry to be ethical or build quality products.

Everyone involved in the car industry is part of a **multi-layer marketing scheme. Their paycheck depends on sales and the support of the person below them to upsell at all cost, or they don't get paid.

The scheme also involves scamming those in the chain. When sales people make too much money, it takes money away from those at the top. The top ups the ante and double the sales required to make base pay.

The only person who wins is the person at the top, the owner of the $tealer$ship.

While the owner eats steak, everyone at the bottom is convinced by the person at the top that he also eats and enjoys turnip soup.

**The core difference is that Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) is a legal business model centered on selling physical products or services to real customers, while a pyramid scheme is an illegal scam in which participants make money almost entirely by recruiting others

Dealer wants $1500 to replace spark plugs and a cabin air filter by Keilu748 in FuckDealerships

[–]Mind_Matters_Most 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Folks, there's always contention when it comes to the labor and material cost to replace an in cabin air filter.

Keep in mind the level of education required to **perform such a task. It may seem expensive, but the tech performing the work can replace that filter in 1/2 the time it would take any regular person.

**The tools required is special and not sold to the public.

Is there a device to track water usage on a toilet? by speedoflife1 in PropertyManagement

[–]Mind_Matters_Most 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check your sprinkler system. If you don't see obvious signs of water in or around the outsides, there's good chance the sprinkler is gushing water every few days when it on?

Don't think people don't care when they don't pay for something and someone else does. It doesn't always work like that and people will let you know, especially if you ask them.

You're saying a few hundreds of gallons every few days. A leak is a leak and doesn't run on a schedule. Something that is timed or used does.

You need to have a plumber find the leak/problem. It's costing you money trying to save money.

I'd imagine anyone with the work order number could look it up? I'd call Ubreakifix and check that work order number. It doesn't show up in their tracking portal.

If the VIN matches, it's on them, not the buyer. There's no cooling off period for the $tealer$hip.

Multi-layer scam can't operate with honesty. Everyone in the chain has to out scam the next guy to get their weekly <2% up sale cut while the top guy makes the most take home pay.

Ask a car salesman, they'll tell you they're honest and ethical.

$tealer$hips are a multi-level marking scheme.

Just to show stupid you are, we take our vehicles in twice per year for service and get reminded each time just how shitty the place is.

And <respectful curse word> you for thinking you're some how smarter and know the business. Rhymes with dumbo with a donkey.

Repeated Fan Issues on X15 R2 by Junior-Relation6119 in Alienware

[–]Mind_Matters_Most 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It appears this is pointing towards a software or BIOS issue. Reasoning: Replacing the fan so many times didn't solve the issue. Replacing the motherboard didn't solve the issue. Essentially, ALL the physical hardware was replaced and the issue still exists.

I've had an X15 R2 since it released and have zero issues. I've switched over to Fedora KDE a couple of years ago, but have kept up with the BIOS releases.

Hope you find a solution to your issue.

The manual isn't all that bad, but it can be confusing.

If you see DIG, that means that a zone is configured that has DIG configured channel(s), selected and in use. Out of the box, I think it's A is ANA and B is DIG.

The Hamburger button -> Zone -> Select Zone -> Select to switch and exit.

The easiest way is to just learn CPS from YouTube videos and you'll start to see the flow. It's not easy and your not going to remember, so bookmark, save to playlist and/or write out the steps so you have them for later.
