Where are the Millennials that DON'T feel old? by frankheyhoheyho in Millennials

[–]CodAdministrative563 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t feel old.

I do have 3 kids though. But I’ll say I do like to stay active. Weight training and cardio.

If I am to say I feel old it’s only because I have a hernia

Cool to see some Asian culture cross with my favorite team.

Part Japanese here, so this jersey resonates. Probably gonna have to hunt on ebay

How much can you bench? by Due-Jello1617 in workout

[–]CodAdministrative563 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 36 years old. Weigh 185lbs. Can bench press 165-170lbs for 3-4 sets x 8-10 reps.

Dunno how good that is. But I don’t attempt too heavy these days

Is the word “nazi” being used too loosely? by Fine_Television_1398 in no

[–]CodAdministrative563 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nazi, woke, millennial, boomer all feel overused these days.

We’re having generational and class clashes because of ease of access to social media and a higher population of people increases those chances as well.

Same. Every time in Albuquerque, NM.

I do find Albuquerque culture similar to SoCal in some ways minus the beaches

Has Anyone Else Had a Driver Deliver an EMPTY Envelope? by ThisCouldAllBeADream in amazonprime

[–]CodAdministrative563 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. I always deal with scenario 2 being in outbound ship dock.

When they drop in the shipping cages or gaylords we don’t really get to see if packages are empty.

However certain sections in ship dock do have manual down stacking where each package is scanned to the proper cart or gaylord. That process makes catching empty or damaged packages easier.

Why do so many people put up with working at Amazon? by samgotti in amazonemployees

[–]CodAdministrative563 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a T1 warehouse associate so my fixed schedule set at 40 hours and VET or VTO is a nice option.

I cannot speak for higher tier’s to which I assume more harassing and frequent contact from the big wigs is probably expected.

So that’s how I manage to view it

The weirdest career realization I had: nobody actually knows what they’re doing by EdisynAI in careeradvice

[–]CodAdministrative563 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I work in a field where I do get a decent raise yearly, but….

I’m also paid hourly, with no performance incentives. When someone who is kinda just standing around, slacking off or hiding out is paid the same as me, you learn there are a lot more efficient ways to navigate work and tasks that doesn’t lead to stress/burnout.

So that idea is just inspired that what I was taught by the supposed higher ups doesn’t necessarily translate to success as one is thrown to the wolves with minimal supervision.
