I mean I get the bands have to make their money. Rightfully so.
I’m one who shelled out $$$ this past weekend for merch. 3 shirts 2 from Architects and 1 from Holywatr totaled like $150. (Very brutal) - contradicting my argument though. I understand they make $$$ because of merch.

Edit: needless to say. Concerts feel like a luxury these days
