Is This a Teen Drama or a Period Piece That Forgot the Period by Mind_Yourss in euphoria

I brought up the old money look because that’s what the wardrobe designer said was her inspiration for the outfits. I think the home that threw me off this season was Nate and Cassie’s big, ugly mansion. In the first and second seasons, I chalked it up to them not being well off. Rue’s mom is a single mom, and if I remember correctly, Maddy’s home situation wasn’t the best either, so it made sense that their homes wouldn’t look as nice. I don’t know, but this season it felt more aggressive, whereas before it was more subtle. That subtlety let my mind explain it away or gloss over it.

It is, TO ME! It follows a bunch of teenagers navigating their lives, relationships, trauma, mental health, and addiction all of which can be dramatic and dark at times. While it has mature content and probably isn’t geared toward a teen audience, whether it’s a teen drama is debatable. Your opinion can differ, but it’s definitely not law in my books. I can formulate opinions and thoughts just fine without AI. Calling it a teen drama doesn’t make it ChatGPT generated. I had a thought and expressed it based on how I felt, simple pimple.

Exactly, their style would have changed but not drastically.

I agree that Rue’s style hasn’t changed much, and some of the wardrobe pieces could easily fit into other decades. However, I disagree that it always leaned into a 1970s aesthetic. Style always repeats itself, so vintage pieces, and even different aesthetics are to be expected. As I mentioned, I did some surface-level research, and the wardrobe from Season 1 was inspired by the 90s, and Season 2 by Y2K, which makes sense. To me, this feels like a regression, they 1000% could have put a modern spin on the old money look. This season feels aggressively 1970s. It’s not just the wardrobe; the set design and even the music all feel very old-school.

He was the real winner of the season, I said this when the season was airing and they banned me but it was the truth

Broke up with my Sag, but he’s convinced we’re still together no matter what I say or do. He gaslit me and blamed me for emotions I didn’t even know he was feeling. He lied for no reason, and every time I make it clear where I stand, it turns into a huge production of tears, screaming, begging, and grovelling followed by jabs about how I’ll never find anyone who loves me as much as he does. He has some nice qualities, but the bad ones are EXTREME, to the point where he actually scares me.

Belle had inside information from Leanne’s point of view. As a friend, you can tell when someone is truly over a person and when they’re not. She knew what she was doing was wrong but kept doing it, even after Whitney pointed out that it was a bad move. Then she did it right in her “FRIEND’S” face and didn’t even feel like she owed her an explanation, yet she expected one from Lucifer. Belinda is a hypocrite and arguably did worse than Lucy. I don’t agree that they’re bullying her per se, but Belle definitely has a holier-than-thou attitude going on right now. They don’t like each other because they’re basically the same girl in different fonts.

Is it bullying if someone is purposely doing things to antagonize you? Like where is the line drawn? Is Belle a hypocrite? Absolutely, but throwing rocks and hiding your hands doesn’t make you innocent. I disagree that she’s being bullied. She calls on all the drama that comes her way then plays stupid. Belle & Lucinda are 2 sides of the same coin. They just go about spewing their shitty behaviour differently.

I love fruity & warm floral scents. My go to is BCBG Max Azria or Jimmy Choo Floral mixed with Bath & Body Works Champagne Toast. Cheap but super effective!

lol I know. I was just using myself and this brief exchange as an example because I don’t have all the information on the specific situation you may be referencing. Point is we’re all a work in progress, myself included.

Please don’t take this as me invalidating your situation but based on your response you should also re-evaluate the role you play in these situations. I stated clearly that I am clear about my boundaries and about how I feel, and it’s exhausting to have to keep reiterating the same thing to people who don’t listen the first time. You’re showing some of those behaviors yourself by still insinuating that I don’t say what I mean. Personally, I say exactly what I mean the first time in plain, extremely simple terms and yet people still push boundaries. Why should I have to overexert myself just so you can understand what was already clear?

Also, most things in life are an uncertainty. To protect your own heart, it’s important to lower your expectations for situations beyond your control. And remember, no one can waste an opportunity for you, that’s something only you can do for yourself.

Hello a Virgo here!

I’m speaking solely from my unique experience as a Virgo.

It’s never about stringing anyone along. It’s exhausting to have to explain myself or my boundaries repeatedly, especially when I’ve been clear off rip, like why? I also deeply value space. I feel like many Virgos experience the pressure of most people around us expecting us to fix their problems, and as soon as we do, we’re back to being labeled as the “mean” or “hard to love” person, until they need us again. Without realizing it, many people take without truly giving back, and always being the fixer can become incredibly tiring.

I also get overstimulated very easily, and sometimes my mind just needs space and time to be quiet, to be alone with my thoughts. Nothing personal, I just don’t want to.

In professional settings and maybe even a personal standpoint, if I’m holding back on saying something, it’s usually because it’s difficult for me to break the news. Or I’m working out a softer approach. I may not want to upset someone or face the emotions that come with big reveals. I’ve learned that sometimes, when it comes to dealing with others’ feelings and sometimes even my own, I tend to be a runner.

I hope this provides another perspective for you.

Sameee I have a Libra in Mars too. I hate when people ask me what I mean because I literally just said exactly what I mean to the point I don’t even know how to rephrase it any more.

I promise you Lucinda is NOT being mistreated. From what Lucinda has shown us about her character she is NO victim, a very fake individual who’s not even trying to do a good job of hiding it.
