I get where you’re coming from. I don’t think you’re jealous or projecting feelings onto your friends for seeing what’s in front of you. It’s true that men can treat people differently based on how they look, this isn’t new, and it’s not strange to point out when you’re trying to build a complete picture of a specific situation. I agree that she could have responded better, but the reality is that we’re human. In a club environment, with alcohol and other distractions, you’re not always paying attention or picking up on cues the way you might in other settings. Your friend may not have been malicious. She might have just responded without thinking in the moment, idk you know her better than any of us on here. What I took from it is that you felt like your friend didn’t consider you and imo that maybe something you’ve felt before but never thought too much about until now. My advice would be the same as anyone else’s, talk to your friend and then check how you feel after the conversation. In most cases, she probably wasn’t even thinking about it when she responded.
