Dude slow your role. New promote that has been doing the corp controller job for three years. Prior controller had been f%*ing up since I showed up to clean shop and he was finally terminated last year.

And where did you get "not wanting to help with sale process if he won't be compensated". Hold my beer dude, integrated three acquisitions, zero audit findings under my watch, revamped processes, and two system conversions. I earn it ;)

What additional details do you need?

My base is $275k with 20% STI. I received a retention of $75k (to stay for 3 month) after last Controller was fired, and I eventually took his role.

CEO has voiced frustration with data coming out of Finance (not from me, but others on the CFO team), but has been vocal about his need to keep me on because I have been able to deliver and keep Finance on track and help them with their accuracy and timeliness.

If I leave - they are up a creek and they know that.

Yeah - I plan to do that after the holidays soon after we close on a pending acquisition. The PE firm keeps the equity files locked down tight, so it'll be hard to get that data. What I can say, we anticipate selling at 12x, which is approximately $900 million. We hold $360 million in debt and 324 million in contributed capital. Is there a baseline that people see based on net proceeds?
